Both of them boarded their ship... Pyro lifted them off, and soon they were back on course.

Everything was quiet. She needed to focus, after all... though it was hard. After a short while she merely set the ship on auto pilot, leaned back and cried.

Pyro fel someone wrap their arms around Pyro...Star rested her haid on Pyro's shoulder....

Ame was floating in the air,blue flames surrounding her body in Gold's room watching her study the book "So, what have you learnt so far Red~?" she asked as she floated over to the red Gem....

Gold glanced up, and waved her arm in a circle- her hand left a trail of light, and spears flew out in a clockwise circle and lodged themselves in the wall opposite of her. "-that." She dropped her hand and held up the book. "Did you want to look at it?"

Right as Pyro and Star began to land Rein was standing there. "Im supposed to go on a mission with you two. Crin is coming aswell. However...due to....recent event you went through, the Diamonds are letting you have a the rest of the day off. We set out tomorrow."

"Alright." She placed the book on her knees once more and continued reading...

Pyro gave her nothing more than a tired look and a nod..

Star was silently standing behind Pyro....Inesite's ship landed and Rein walked up to the two of them "You tow...We heard about your activities..."We are thinking your ship would help with our operations and transportation of cargo and other goods. Your skills you each have would also be use full...Blue Diamond has asked me to inform you that you are now part of her Court."

Suddenly Star spoke, however it was in a quite whisper "Can we go to your room Pyro? I just want to lay down..."

Pyro listened, then made a small choking noise when she heard Star. "Y-yes... here... I could carry you."

"N-...no...I can walk..." she spoke as she force a smile and began to walk, leaning on Pyro for support....

"...youre stubborn." She wrapped one arm around Star's waist to help hold her up, and led them too her room, trying to hide her limp as much as possible.
She gingerly tapped the code in the keypad to her room, and the door slid open... she helped Star inside and over to her bed.

Star laid down and looked at her "Why dont you lie down as well?"

"I-!" She looked away shyly... "I... guess I will? Wait... do you m-mean in my bed or with...you??"

"O-oh..." she sat down, flinching a little, and laid down beside Star... staring at her with half closed eyes.

Star pulled Pyro close and hugged her....

Pyro started to cry again, clutching at Star's arms with shaking hands. "T-they... they told me I'd never see you a-again..."

Star smiled as she stroked Pyro's hair and spoke "Dont worry Pyro.....we're safe now...."

She let out a shaky hiss. "Wh-what did they do to you while we were separated??"

"The same thing they did to use when we were together...I was their dancer...."

She choked a little and buried her face in Star's chest. "I... Im sorry. I should've killed those gems I never should've agreed to go with them I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." she moved her arms to hug Star, fingers digging lightly into her back.

"Its...okay..." She smiled as rubbed Pyro's head "Like I said, we're safe now~<3"

"I-its not okay..." she looked up at Star and wiped the side of her face on the sheets. "I-I couldn't protect you...

And..." She bit her lip, blushing a little in spite of her tears. "I wanted your first.../our/ first... to be special... and just..." she wriggled around to sit up, but pain shot through her hips and she cried out. "F-fuck! A-ah... I-I wanted to show you something when we got back too, and..." her head hit the pillow and she took a few ragged breaths, before falling into a light doze, muttering rapidly.

"What did you want to sow me?"

"The... iss a surprisseee..." she muttered sleepily. "In not gonna tell yeww..."

"Thanks. Jeez." she muttered

"Mm. Shut up." She pulled Star a bit closer and pushed her head between Star's jaw and shoulder. "I'll show you... eventually." She bit down on her lip and was quiet..

Star woke up to Rein walking into the room, "Py-..." she noticed that Star and Pyro tore the wall down that separated tneir rooms..."Pyro /and/ Star. Get up."

"W...whut?" She lifed her head to stare through narrowed eyes, and was about to make a nasty remark when she realized who it was. "O-oh...Rein. I-" she glanced back down to where she was still holding Star and immediately pulled herself away, sitting up on the edge of the bed. "Yeah, yeah, we're coming..."

Rein, Crin and Euclase were waiting by a ship, Crin waved to the two gems...

Pyro nodded in greeting and went over to them, crossing her arms. "Alright... what exactly are we doing? I-I was never told."

Rein spoke up "Shutting down an old kindergarten. Its of no use. We are also making sure no rebels are there." For...what ever reason, this planet has shown signs of activity from one of the moon bases, it's picking up Gems there, so if its rebels; we kill them. And late emerging Gems we are to bring back here."

"Ah." She cast a quick glance at Star before turning back to Rein, shifting her hands around her diamond insignia in respect. "Whenever you're ready."

Star did the same but seemed so grunt in a queit tone that only Pyro was able to hear due to how close she was....

"Alright. Lets get going." Rein spoke in a loud voice...The ship they got into just screamed 'high up', the tech was fascinating, i must be tech thats in current development....And the outside was a sleek black with seafoam details...Rein walked through the personal ship and reached the front room...She sat down and looked back "Is everyone inside Pyrolusite?"

"Uh... yeah, seems like it." She poked her head back out. "Yeah, everyone must be." She ducked back inside and tapped a few buttons to close up the door, and joined them after a moment, taking her place near Star. "Everythings prepared for take off."

Rein nodded as the ship ascended into the sky and space....She then set it to warp...with in a few second the stopped in orbit of the planet...."Alright...We're here...." the skip landed on the barren planet...everything was dead...injectors and other old equipment was everywhere....

Star was the first off and looked around "What...happened to this place?"

"Oh, this?" Pyro stepped out, landing in the ashy dust. Everything had rotted to gray... "A kindergarten. I thought we told you? Conceived and injected gems drain the life from a planet." She took a long look around... small flecks glinted faintly in the dirt, lit up by weak sunlight.
"This is what always happens. A bit upsetting when you really think about it. Try not to, its only a planet." She bent down to scoop up a handful of the dust, letting it seep through until there were only flecks left... she called up to Rein. "Shards?"

Star looked saddened "Thats horrible....."

Rein walked up to Pyro "Yes Pyrolusite? What did you nee-..." she noticed how the shards had diffent colors mixed into them "Uhm..those must just be from the rebellion, their aren't important Pyrolusite." she spoke as she continued walking "Hey, Pyrolusite. How many Kindergartens have you set up?""

"Try not to think about it. We'll just finish this, and leave..." she let the shard slip from her hand as Rein told her it wasnt important, and began to follow as quickly as she could. "Oh! A dozen at least. Pssh." She waved her hand in the air. "S'what I mostly did in the early days of the war. Why? With all due respect of course. Why did you want to know?"

"Alright, well then you should know where the control room is correct? Lead us there."

"O-oh..." she hadn't expected to be asked this, especially from a higher up. "S-sure! With pleasure." She lead them deeper into the kindergarten... passing more and more injectors along the way.

"If im right about the layout, this should be the spot." After a while of walking, she bent down to press the soil experimentally, and after a few moments, a click was heard and she hummed. "There it is. Step forwards."

(So I plan for them to come out once its all shut down. So leik, when they get back to the surface then they begin to come out while they search for the heat signatures.)

"Alright. Thank you Pyrolusite." She smiled as she stepped forwards, the ground lit up and began to sink down slowly..."I'll be right back, I need to grab data off the console." she spoke as she vanished into the pit....Star looked at Pyro "Shouldn't we have followed her?"

"No no. I don't have any use for the data. Its probably some higher up special snowflake shit that 'ooh-no-one -must-read' sorta deal anyways." She rolled her eyes, not hiding her disdain any more. "We'll just wait, I'm sure shes perfectly fine on her own."

She soon returned "Welp, time to find the heat signature now that the data is destroyed~"

"Alright." She stepped back in respect and began to move away. "Where are they located?"

"Not sure, they seem to be deeper in, around the spot where most of the gems emerged from." she shrugged and began to walk away...Soon they reached the center....Through the corner of Pyro's eye she saw a deformed Gem crawling out of a hole in the mountain side....

"U-uh... what is that??" She stopped and turned her head to look, and her eyes widened in fear. "U-uh... R-Rein??" She backed up further, seeking the safety of the five of thek together. "T-theres...something..."

Rein turned around and summoned her Scythe..."Everyone! Back to the ship!! Now!!" she yelled, as she swung her scythe in the the air, slicing once of the force fusions that lept at her...

Pyro started in the direction they had come from, before turning back momentarily, shaking. "S-star! Crin! Ice bb...uddy! Hurry the hell up!"

Star stood her ground and summoned her rapier....Crin summoned her Katana and Euclase summoned her blue halberds and spun them.

Rein looked at the two and waved her hand as she retreated "Pyro's right we have to go! /Now!!/" she yelled as more climbed through he other holes...On jumped infront of Euclase....

Her eyes widened in shock...She stepped back, through it's growling and chocking sound she heard a voice...'Eu...cluse....' Why....didn't you open the gate?" The blue Gem watched as it got closer to her , the black cloath dragin behind it...the warped gem in above where it's heart would be...She screamed as she stabbed through it's Gem, Star heard the scream and turned back "Guy! Euclase is still back there!!" she yelled as she vanished behind a corner....

Another deformed Gem jumped infront of Star but she sliced it in half the stabbed it's gem....

Limbs began to grow from the shard Euclase stabed with her Hablerd as she was struggling with another that vomited a black tar in her face, it stabbed her stomache and tossed her to the ground,the icey blue gem stumbled along the grey, rocky ground and rolled to her feet fire shots of ice at them...but they just kept coming...

There was alound thud behind her as she turned around to see a towering Gem, five eyes staring down at her....She looked at it, regonizing soe of the arour stuck in it's flesh, the torn cloak slunk over it....Five voice began to call for her, asking to die, for her to join them...for help...for her to open up.

Star finally got to where she heard Eculase's scream to see the large Gem had picked her up by her neck and stabbed through her shoulder...her form poofed and the creature crushed the gem in it's hand.....

"Star! Dammit!!" She looked from Rein and Crin, to where Star had vanished, then back... and ultimately took off after her, tripping a bit on some pebbles.

She finally got there after a few minutes of intense running and roughly grabbed Star's arm. "You idiot! We have to /leave/-" she stopped pulling on her arm when she saw the force fusion... she made a choking noise and pulled on Star again. "L-lets /GO/!!"

Star shook her head and sliced through all the Fusions and jumped ver another, she scooped up the shards of Euclase but was grabbed by the same one that killed Euc...It tightened it's gripp on Star's neck and slammed her into the rocky mountain side, the pulled her back then slammed her against the had suface once again...and again...and again....and again until she dropped her sword...

The bubble appeared infront of Crin and she popped it, bubbling the shards in a yellow bubble and ran after where Pyro and Star went....Rein shook her head and followed....

"!!NO!!" Pyro flew forwards, blinded by rage. She wasnt going to lose this one... even if it was a terrifying monster she was fighting. She drove her foot into the arm holding Star to shove it off, and kicked it away, landing a hit between its eyes. She then jumped over, drawing her sword in one swift motion and stabbing it, repeatedly. No mercy at all... one would call it extreme overkill. She finally reared back and socked it in the pieced together gem...

Star stumbled up to her feet...Rein's scythe flew through the crowd of force fusions, destroying their gems....She then yelled at Pyro "Carry Star and run back to the ship!!" She waved her hand and ran back to the ship "Hurry before more come back!!" Crin picked up shards of the force fusions, adding them to the bubble with Euclase's Gem....

Pyro nodded and gritted her teeth, pushing herself off of the force fusion and running to catch Star and carrying her bridal lb style. "Don't fucking move. I'm in enough pain again." She took off in the direction they came from... gradually as they got away, her adrenaline started to wear off, and she stumbled a bit before stopping, setting Star down in the dust.

"I can't... I just need a minute to rest. I think I agitated something again." She clenched her jaw and held Star up by the shoulders, running her fingers alon her gem... "you... aren't hurt, are you??"

"N-no....Im okay..." Rein grabbed the two and picked the pu, carrying them a boarded...Crin got on aswell....The ship began to lift off...Rein set the two one chairs and sat in the front control seat, and set it on warp drive......

Pyro tested one leg experimentally...until she seized up. Yup. Definitely tore something in /there/ again... she dropped her leg and stared at the back of her hand. There were shallow slices on her knuckles... presumably from where she had straight up punched the sharp shards.
"S-so... did you at least get what you needed, Rein..?"

"The data was destroyed and we found out what the heat source was. Mission was a success." soon they returned to Homeworld, Crin got off and walked away, still in possession of the bubble....

"Oh... thats good." When they got back, she stumbled to her feet, before helping Star off the ship... as they were walking away, she looked over. "I'm still amazed you're not hurt or anything."

Star smiled as blood began to run down her shoulder "Yep...About that....That doesn't matter. So let see the place you wanted to show me~!"

"You. Stop that right now. You're going to rest." She pressed a hand to her wound... blood dripped through her fingers, but she ignored it as she nudged Star along. "I already lost you a few times and you're /not/ bleeding to death on me."

Iolite was stalking her. Through the shadows of buildings. The coat was useful sometimes... as Crin got further, she deftly climbed to the roof of a small building and began hopping across the roofs... sleeves trailing behind her. She wanted to know. Wherever the force fusion was going.

"No!! Im going to that place you wanted to take me to!!"

The force fusion walked up the side of a wall...She pressed on it and it turned green....a section of the wall vanished and she walked into a tunnel...There were pipes all along the walls of the tunnel and lights on the side of the steps of the staircase..She reached a large room with machines holding Gemshards in fluids, body parts growing from them as well as bodies....

She walked up to one table and began to glue the Euclase's Gem together, then placing the shards of force fusions into the gapes ...

"Star." She stopped to look up at her...her eyes were shiny, as if she was about to cry. Her voice shook. "At least let me have a look and try to fix it up. Please... I promise I'll take you once I do that."

Iolite followed as quietly as she could, and watched from the doorway... she couldn't see what the gem was doing. When her back turned momentarily, she crawled over and ducked behind one of the desks and peered over to watch...
...was she creating force fusions herself? Thats what it seemed like,.ans what she was doing was vaguely similar to the notes in the database she had gone through.

Star smiled as she sighed "Alright...." SHe then lifted her shirt, the was a gash just above her gem, deep wound; that would explain the large amount of blood trailing along her arm....

Crin finished and the gem began to reform....The Icey blue Gem feel to her knees however...something was different....For one, she was now just as tall as Crin..
Her hair was completely different...

Her fur cape was tied around her waist like a skirt but open at the front so she could run....it drooped on the floor abit. This made the amour covering her upper body more visible, she now had the same marking as Rein did on her left shoulder plate.... Her eye color was a dark, mystic purple and her eyes were sharp, the lines under her eyes made it look as if she hasnt got any rest since the day she emerged....He nails were longer and painted blue, darker blue swirls covered viable skin(So leik ame, but her normal skin instead of yellow/orange and darker blue rather then purple) the bracers on her arms were scratched up and dented along with the amour on her chest and the Armour that now covered her black pants....She threw her arm to the side and her halberd formed beside her, now adjusted to fit her new height....

She stared up at the dozens of shards... then back down at the two gems in front of her. She'd have to come back when those two were gone..

she was cut off by Crin "You're a force fusion now. Just like me. Come on, its time you met the Diamonds, they'll be happy that there is another successful force fusion." Euclase just looked at her and nodded, following the other force fusion as she left the room....

"I'm taking you /after/, you ungrateful-..." she bit down on her tongue and continued searching through the cabinets... after a moment of digging she retrieved the roll of cloth, and set it on the counter, standing up to open the mirror cabinet and snagging a bottle of painkillers. With everything collected, she re-entered the main room and sat down at the table. "Come kneel in front of me."

Iolite hid herself under the desk and listened as their footsteps faded away... she crawled out and took a good look around the lab, before leaving as well...

Crin hailed a taxi and it stopped...Crin and Euclase got in and off it went...to the largest building on Homeworld....

"I-...Your shirt. T-...take your shirt off." She bit down on her lip and looked away. "A-and turn your back towards me so I can see."

Star did as she was told, taking her silk of then her shirt, dropping the shirt to the floor and letting the silk hang off her waist....

/shit/ she swallowed nervously and took the roll from the table, unrolling a decent amount, and started wrapping it around Star's shoulder, covering the others gem slightly in the process. After a few minutes of this process repeated, she stopped, and grabbed the small metal clip that came with the gauze, pulled the strip tight, and set the clip. "T-there... I'll need to change it later. Not that we get infections-" she laughed dryly. "It just gets nasty feeling after a while."

Star smiled and hugged Pyro without putting her shirt back on "Alright, thanks~"

Star noticed how blue Pyro face was and giggled "Alright~" she smiled a she let go of Pyro and put her shirt back on...

"S-shut up! Its not funny!" Her voice pitch raised as she was more flustered. "Just.... uuhhgggg!" She threw her arm over her face and felt around for the pill bottle, before turning away to get a glass of water. She emptied three into her hand and took them all at once, chugging her glass and seting it down. "A-are you decent now??"

"Yeah, lets get going...If we hurry maybe I can bury your face in my breast again~ <3" She laughed, teasing Pyro.

"Okay...we'll be going to the galaxy warp. Come on." She took Star's hand and led her there... once there, she turned. "Cover your eyes, and trust me. I won't let you fall..."

"Fine..." she sighed and overed her yes, grabbing Pyro's hand.

"Don't you sigh at me."

She led Star up the steps of the warp... they vanished and reappeared in a field. It was still warm from the heat of day...the sky was tinged a pale pink, and shadows fell across the field, turning the bright grass and flowers a pretty shade of blue. Further in the field, there was an arrangement of large stones... the tips were orange with the fading rays of the sun. She led Star off the warp and half smiled. "You can... you can look now."

Star looked around and her eyes widened as she looked around and smiled, laughing as she danced around in the feilds "I love it!! This place it beautiful!!"

"Y-you like it??" She waited for a moment, before going to take Star's hand again. "Come. We'll sit on the rocks... you can see quite far from the tops."

Star nodded as she got to the top with Pyro "Its amazing...I..want to live here...With you Pyro...We can..." she closed her eyes and smiled "How'd you find such a beautiful planet?"

"I...didn't find it." She looked away momentarily, hiding her eyes. "Agate showed me."

"I... stopped coming here for a while." Her eyes went to the dying sun as it set. She seemed to be picking her words carefully. "After the war, I mean... we would spend a lot of time on these very rocks. I missed this place..." she took a deep breath, and looked down at their hands, holding Star's slightly tighter. "I wanted to show you. Because... I don't know. Youre special to me."

Star hugged Pyro "Well...thank you for showing me this place..." she smiled and kissed her forehead

"A-ah, stop." She blushed a little bit, all traces of deepness gone. "I-I just... ah fuck. I wanted to..." she stopped momentarily, then leaned upwards, tilting Star's head down to kiss her.

Star moaned as pushed PYro onto her back and continued kissing her...

Pyro went with it- at first. Kissing back, holding herself up with arms hooked around Star's neck. She then pulled her head back to breath... "u-uhhh... Star?? What are we-??"

Star got off her blushing "O-oh!! UHMm!! S-sorry I just...got carried away..."

"N-no...no, don't apologize, I-its fine. I started it so its likely my fault and I didn't mean to get carried away either and I just..." she took a breath after her strung-together sentence, and sat up, leaning on her arms behind her. "W-we'll stay here a bit longer, theres one more thing I'd like to show you~..."

Her eyes lit up "SHOW ME!!"

Pyro smiled slyly. "Look up."

The sun had finally vanished behind the mountains far on the horizon... with the daylight gone, millions of stars could be seen. "I present to you- as many stars as you will ever see, all in one sky."

Star smiled as tears ran down her face...."Thank you Pyro....."

"Hey hey, don't cry... thats not it. Look at the flowers below us."

Each of the blue flowers was pulsating faintly with a white glow... like tiny stars themselves.

"Something in their composition makes them glow..." she slid down off the rock and vanished momentarily- she came back holding three of the flowers. "Here~"

Star looked at them and began to cry again as she hugged Pyro "Thank you...I love them~"

"Oh yeah... its nothing~" She hugged back before turning to wipe below Star's eyes with her thumbs. "Please don't cry though... I hate it when you do. Even if you're... happy? I think you are."

"I am happy...I love you so much Pyro...and thank you for keeping me warm and taking care of me when we were...." she trailed off mid sentence....

Her jaw clenched, and a tear rolled down her cheek. "D-dont remind me... I-it was what I needed to do. I'm... just grateful you didn't suffer that entirely alone.

Spectrolite wrapped one set of arms around herself... in the void of their mind, Pyro had latched onto Star in the same manner. "I love this... I just want to stay here."

"Maybe..." she seemed sad, backing up to hold one arm. "I guess so... they'll probably get upset if we're gone too long."

"Well, Im gonna rest..." the blue gem yawned as she walked away...Crin looked at Pyro and Star, then Pyro...she saw the flowers in Pyro's hands.

Just then she gota call, she pulled a disk from her pocket and a golden holo-creen opened up, she tapped a button on the screen and A Peridot was seen "Hello...Black Star Sapphire; Facet-78F5Y Cut-2XH? I have a mission for you and whom ever you wish to take with you. Take two other people with you. We'll also send a jasper and Pabstite with you, You five are to set up kindergartens and a warp pad on the planet, we plan to make it into a new Gem Colony, its on the edge of unmapped space, I'll send the coordinators to your personal log." the peridot vaished...

"Perfect. Is now okay? I understand if you're busy."

He had a long dressy looking coat, with dress pants and shoes. A black cape fluttered out behind him... he landed gracefully and looked around. "Where... where is this place?"

After that she messaged the Peridot from before to send the Jasper and Pabstite.

"Suit yourself." She shrugged and waited until Star had finished her messaging before opening the door and stepping into the hall...

"You... you killed them didn't you?" He dove forwards, both daggers pointed at Ame's stomach... it was at that moment that scraping could be heard- Iolite jumped through the gap between Gold and Ametrine, and caught the golden gem upside the head.

"Get off of me!" He attempted to push her off, before Iolite leaned down and hissed something in an unknown language... he froze. "Iolite?? The... the defect that thinks shes a cat?"

Iolite nodded and let him up, he seemed calmer now... Gold started. "Wait. You two know eachother?"

Ame smiled "Well then...this is interesting..."

They soon got to the ship bay "Hey Pyromorphite, can weuse your ship? That way we can bring the supplies and equipment all in one trip~"

"Uh sure?" soon the Peridot arrived with the two other Gems, the Pabstite looked at the three "Huh, so what ship are we taking~?" she smiled as she closed a dark blue log and put the disk into her bag...

Pyromorphite stepped forwards, "We're using my freighter."...

Peridot lookd at the two "Alright, I guesss we'll load everything onto your ship then. SHe then pulled out her log and called for four jaspers to come to the bay...once they got there two of they fused to make two fusions and began to lift the supplies into the ship.... After some time the ship was loaded and the Jaspers unfused and walked away with the Peridot...

He sneered. "Interesting... to you." He was still angry... Iolite tugged on his hand lightly. "Hm? What's up?"
She nodded quietly in the direction of the door... "Come with me. Theres no point fighting so..." -she stopped, trying to find the words. "Just come."

"Wait a minute. Hold up. We need to know who he is before-"

"Raspite 133 of Yellow Rose Division." Iolite said with surprising clarity despite her accent. "Former Rebel. He'll be fine though. I can take he."

Pyro watched in silence. She didn't know the other three... and was distrustful of one already. She looked up to Star after they walked away. "Well? You're leading us... Commander."

Pabstite smiled as she ran onboard humming, Star entered the ship as well, Pyromorphite lead them to the control room..."Okay, I'll drive. Is that alright commander?"

Star nodded "Yeah, I dont know how to drive freighters . SHe ten sat down in the co-pilot's seat and began to star the engines....

Pyromorphite smiled "Hey, well you kinda know what you're doing but-=" she flicked the switches Starr had flicckes most of those dont start the ship, they lock doors, activate the tractor beam and other things." she the placed her hand into the holo-board and the ship began to take off...

Pyro got on as well and snickered as she leaned against the wall. "Hey, looks like the nerd doesn't know everything." She laughed, and went silent as they lifted off..

Star looked back at Pyro "Hey! Shut your mouth!" she grumbled as stoped flicking switches...

The ship started to go through space, Pyromorphite activated the warp drive, roughly twenty minutes later they got to the planet and began to descend....it looked like a lush Tropical Rainforest....they began to hover above the shore of the ocean...."Hmm...Where will we land. Pyrolusite. Come here. You've set these things up before so while we travel around I need you to look for a good spot to set up..."

(Just make a clearing somewhere...) the then flew above the vast rain forest....

Ame sighed as she watched them leave...

"Okay." She shot a harsh look at Star, muttering something along the lines of 'grumpy bitch' as she stood up to look out across the land... "Hmm... it looks liie theres a break in the trees at about 11 oclock from our position. Take us there."

"Well..." Gold sighed. "I guess that could've been worse." She shook herself and went to grab the Light Tome from under her pillow. "We should... we should work on finding the next one, yes??"

Pyromorphite nodded as she landed in the break in the trees..."This planet is huge... No wonder they wanted to set up a colony here."

"Alright." she turned to the Jasper and Pabstite then to Star "Are we gonna start setting up?"

Star nodded "Yeah, let get everything set up~" she smiled "Pyro wanna fuse? We can help set up~"

"S-sure!" She blushed faintly and took Star's hand... moments later they had become Spectrolite again. "There. Lets... do this." She went to the storage part of the ship and began retrieving supplies, and carrying them outside.

Pabstite and Jasper fused and began to help...Pyromorphite used her Limb enhancer to lift caro out of the ship.

After a while everything was unloaded outside... Specrolite began setting up Injectors. "You should know how to prepare these.." she murmured to herself, speaking to Star. "The best I can do is lift them- you'll need to control and activate them."

"Yeah, once we unfuse I'll calibrate them okay~?"

"Yeah, alright." She shrugged and continued...

After a few hours they finished setting everything up, Star and Pyromorphite began to calibrate the systems....

Meanwhile Pyro could see Pabstite sparing with the Jasper....

Pyro was deep in thought- absentmindedly tapping her fingers on her arm. Every now and then she cast long glances at Star... watching her move. She shook herself and stood, going to observe the fight between Pabstite and Jasper..

Pabstite knocked the jasper to her feet by shoot a grapple at their leg then pulling, she then jumped on to the Jasper and held on of her long blades to their neck "You lose..." she then noticed the Pyrolusite and smiled "Oh! Hey! Wannna spare~?"

"Well... I wanted to, but now I think I'll lose." She joked, eyeing the blades. "But sure, come at me."

She stapped the blades to her fore arms and slashed at Pyro "Well here we go~" she smiled and began to hum...

"H-huh??" She faltered and skidded on the grass, and she moved one arm to block it... but it stabbed into her arm and she cried out. She tore her arm away- the harpoon tip left a ragged wound and she hissed, before beginning to run again, stabbing forwards with one sword.

She pulled her other blade the the ground ad clamped it back onto the gauntlet on her fore arm and dashed at Pyro maning an 'X' formation with the blades

They met in the center, four blades sliding against eachother with harsh scraping noises.

Pyro adjusted her injured arm and growled. "You're pretty good-" one leg lifted and pushed into Pabs stomach to push her away. "...maybe."

She stubbled back but swung her arm at Pyro, the blade launched of and spun at her, after the she fired another grapple

The gem shook in Pabs hands, then began to float... Pyro reformed from the gem, and landed gently... her appearance had changed from the average Homeworld uniform. (So her Neo design...without the four diamonds.)

She stretched and turned to look at her cape, one thumb runjing across the new scar on her forehead. "...hmm. This looks even better than I imagined."

Each time she caught sight of one, she would edge closer to Star... making small noises as she walked... eventually they reached the entrance...when Pyro finally saw it, she began to run, bursting back out into the day light... or... evening light

Star smiled as she got up and changed her outfit to her silk out fit "Happy Pyro~? I switched out of the dirty engineer's outfit~" she laughed she she punched Pyro in her shoulder and walked out the door.

While she was waiting for her soup to finish... she glanced over at the green gem sitting at the table. "Hey... Pyromorphite." It sounded weire, something so similar to her own name... she shrugged it off. "That limb thingy of yours... tell me about it."

She looked at Pyro "Oh! This" She asked, using the de attacked fingers from the modded limb enhancer to point at itself "Its a modified Limb enhancer I made, I suffered a serious wound to my arm when me and Inesite were attacked by a gang in the alley we were sleeping in. It turns out I came down with False Pain syndrome, so I couldn't use my arm. When we were accepted into the gang you...met...they gave me the resources to build myself a new arm. That's one of the only reasons I stayed loyal to them despite what they did...also we needed the money and shelter. its hard to live on the streets of the slums."

"I...see." she flinched at the mention of the gang again, and tensed up a little. "I'm sorry."

"Eh...its in the past now. So what do you do in Homeworld~?"

"Exactly this." She stirred her soup, then poured a decent amount into a bowl and went to sit across from the other gem. "Setting up Kindergartens and such. I'm also a war veteran... if that's relevant." She huffed and continued. "I occasionally take young gems under my wing and train them as well."

Star smiled as she listened to the conversation....

Pyromorphite smiled "Ah! I see. So where did you fight during the war? Like what unit and planet?"

"I was...for the most part stationed on Earth. Sector M, Planet 2-354. That was where the thickest of the battles took place. Essentially the... heart? I suppose you could say." She took a spoonful of soup, pausing momentarily. "Anything else you want to know?"

"Yeah, how you met you girlfriend there~"

"!!" She coughed a bit and glanced quickly at Star before answering. "I-I met her... she emerged from a Kindergarten near the end of the war... she was one of the gems I escorted back to Homeworld."

"Ah, I see~" she smiled "Any questions for me~?"

"How...did you meet?? Ah whats her name... Inesite?"

"Oh! Thats simple, We emerged right beside each other."

"Ah. Alright." She leaned forwards to eat a bit more.

"Because, you happened t be the kind they wanted. A 'Dancer', she had the perfect get up and looks. You ha the muscles for labor they needed."

She hissed quietly. "Oh yes, and that makes it perfectly okay to take us and abuse us."

"Your actions say more. But sure." She scoffed and leaned back, done her soup...

"Well thats a dumb assumption. You think I wanted to do that? Jeez, well you've lived a happy life of Homeworld. You never lved in the slums with no money."

"If you didnt want to do it then why do it." She snarled back. "You could've gone back empty handed. Oh, wait. You've never met anyone you've captured again, have you?"

She glarred at her "Listen her you fucking bitch!" She screeched as she slammed her hands oto the table "You are /Lucky/ you were only in that situation for a month or so!!" She narrowed her eyes "You are fucking lucky. Because When we were first taken into the gang we went through that four two years and a half before we we told to and get more people. It was their way of 'building trust' for us! That or they would kill us. And I guarantee you, if you and Star had those two choices you would take the same choice we did, you do anything to make sure they dont harm the ones you love!"

Star sighed and shook her head as she finished cooking....

Pyro recoiled and stood up. "Oh so you /do/ know what its like! Fff, you had me thinking you didn't care who fell under your hands."

She glared at Pyro and but continued to eat her food....Star took her dish and sat down across from the green Gem "Dont...mind her attitude...shes like that to everyone."

"Better fucking believe I'm like that to everyone. I don't trust her." She growled as she got up to put her bowl in the sink, movements stiff with anger.

Star smiled "Hey Pyro, why not try some of this~?"

"I. Don't. EAT." She turned her head to the side, eyes narrowed. "You. Know I hate trying new food."

Star smiled and looked at her "Well, can you sit with me bae~?<3"

Star passed the plate and muttered in a sad tone "Ypu..dont need to yell Pyro..."

"Hmph." She took a piece of chicken and turned away to bite into it.

Her eyes widened. She glanced back at Star, then down at the plate, then back, and reached to take a bigger piece, eating it grudgingly.
"Fine, you win." She muttered between bites. "This is fucking delicious."

Star's eyes lit up "R-Really~!?"

"Y-yeah. You'd better take that back, before I eat it all."

"Uh...I'll cook more for you if you want~!!

Pyro twitched and looked up and her, nodding quickly.

Star smiled as she grabbed Pyro's wrist and pulled her to the kitchen "THis time, you can waytch so you know how to cook it yourself okay~?"

"Alright, here. First off you do this-" she spoke as she began to cook....

"Okay." She watched with wide eyes... almost drooling at some points. "I-is it done yet. Can it be done?? I-I just-"

"Hey, Pyro, What if II cut the meat up and put it into your chicken soup~? How does that sound~<3 ?"

"Y-you can do that??" She stared in shock. "You can mix different prepared foods??" She bounced on her toes a bit and licked her lips. "Do it!"

"OKay, you start cooking your soup and I'll finish up the chicken~<3"

She whirled around without another word and went to find the pot she had used from earlier, rinsng and drying it quickly before filling it with water to boil. She set it on the stove and vanished into the back to find another packet of soup... she returned with three, and poured them into the pot, silently waiting

Star finished cooking the chicken and put it on a cutting board "OKay, big or small chunks~?"

"Big." She said without looking up... with a grunt of impatience she turned up the dial for her burner, and could be heard muttering "cook damnit..."

She began to cut the chicken into large chunks "Alright, now we are waiting on your soup to finish~<3"

"I-it might be a bit. Theres more." She growled at the pot of soup, as if it could hear her and would cook faster. "Is there anything I can do to make this thing cook faster I /want/."

Star blinked as she turned up the heat "That'll help..."

They both waited, until Pyro hummed quietly and took it off. "Okay that was triple the time it should be fine. If it isnt then pfft. I'll just deal with the food poisoning. Pass me your chicken."

She smiled and passed the chicken

Pyro took it and mixed it in with her soup... then simply took the whole pot off. "Come on."

"Come where?"

"To. The table??? I'm gonna eat. I mean if you were gonna make something else then-" she shrugged and moved out to where she had been sitting before.

Star followed to the table....

"Watch me just... eat all of it." She joked sarcastically, and took a spoonful. Her reaction was immediate- she froze and stared blankly at her soup before continuing to eat at a much faster rate.

"God why didn't you tell me I could mix foods??? I wonder how good my tea and his soup would be together..."

"Nooo, dont do that Pyro."

"Why not though??" She lifted her head. "I bet it'd be great-"

"No. Trust me, some foods dont mix. You might like it though~<3"

A little while later, she had finished... she staggered back and sat down. "Good lord now I don't feel good." She muttered as she pu a hand over her eyes. "Why didn't either of you stop me??"

Ame got out of her mind and laughed as she got into her own body again, then she laughed "Oh! Boy~! So.../thats/ what you think of me huh Red~?"

"Ahh! Yes, thats what we'll do!" She bumped her nose against he sharks. "Awww, don't worry, I'll come back to spend time with you.."

"W-what?? No... y-you didn't... I-its, it isn't, I swear!!" She shied away, hiding her face. "L-listen..."

Star smiled "Alright, ready to surface? Or do you wanna ride the shark's back?" she laughed and shook her head.

"I'm listening~" she smiled as she looked at Gold, "Now do you believe me Red~?"

"W-we'll just... surface." She patted the shark's side and muttered something before pushing off of the sand and beginning to swim back up.

"I...yes..." she held her head in her hands. "D-don't...do that ever again."

She smiled as she also surfaced...

Ame smiled "Sorry Red. THats the only way I could convince you~"

"There... now what?? Should we head back?"

"Yes, by delving into my mind and finding /that/ of all things." She spat back, but didn't move... "was there any more to your story??"

"Yeah. I dont know, do you have anything else in plan?"

Orphi was seen shooting arrows into the cliff side....

"Ah, not much else thats important. Hey actually...we'll be returning back there soon. I think the Shadow tome may be there....Howlite had notes on the tomes."

"Nothin from me, no." she swam over to Star and lopped her arms around the others neck. "Carry meeeeee."

"Returning?? Where though?? And whos Howlite??"

"Fine...How...do we get back up there?"

Orphi laughed "I'll go get the ship." she shok her head and used her limb enhancer to fly back up the cliff....

"You'll find out once we finish eating- Speaking of which`" the waitress came back with their food and set it on the table.

"...thank you." She picked up her fork and took a piece of her food, avoiding eye contact as she ate..

Ame smiled as she began to eat....

The roar of the large ship was heard when it came over the cliff side and landed above the water....Star stepped into the water and carried Pyro onto the ship...

Gold was silent. She didn't want to say anything... the other knew now. Though she hadnt exactly rejected... she finished the last of her food and set the fork down neatly, still avoiding the others eyes... biting her cheek nervously.

Pyro slid off of Star's back and shook herself, flinging small droplets across the ship floor, before following Star to the control room.

"Red? This is supposed to be a date. Why are youy so silent?"

Orphi began to make the ship lift off back and flew back to the camp.

"B-because now you know. You know how I feel about you." She muttered, taking a sip of her wine. "Its...embarrassing."

"I...think it's pretty cute to be honest." she smiled "So cheer, up. Dont be aa downer on our date Red~"

"W-wait, you do?" She looked back up in surprise and shook her head. "But... You're some sort of spirit. Now I don't think it'd work..."

"Oh, but it can still work; my body is still a fusion of two Gems...."

"...thats true..." she sighed. "Were you going to get dessert? Or did you want to leave right away to your... friends place?"

"Lets leave right now~"

"Alright." She stood up and ppaced a few coins on the table as a tip, then went to the desk to pay for both of them despite having been told that Ame would pay for herself. Once she had finished talking with the waitress, she turned away. "Okay... lets go see this friend of yours."

She smiled as they got into a cab and took it to the Galactic Warp Station..."Alright, here we go." she smiled as she stepped on one of the warp pads "Get on Red~"

Gold stepped on as well... she looked curious as they vanished.

They reappeared but were tosse to the ground, the warp pad they came through was ruined and cracked yet still functional..."Ohhh~! It is goood to be back~!" she laughed as seh looked up the forest road, just beyond the forest wasa large castle...

A twisted grin grew on her face as she began to skip down the road....

Gold stood up and brushed off her pants... staring into the forest, then bolting afer Ame, not wanting to get lost...

She appoched the door and knocked on the large door...The large door openned up and Ame smiled at Howlite "Hey there old man~!" she slung her arm around his shoulder before he could step back "So, Red! Meet the man who help discover Force Fusion, and the one who gave me my body~!" she laughed as she shook her head and took the voice of his wife "I missed you so much honey~" she went to hug him but he pushed her away
"I told you to never come back here Ame!"

Gold looked on silently, in disbelief... "Ame, y-you're making him uncomfortable... w-we should just find what you needed, and leave..."

She smiled as she patted his back and took the child's voice "But I want to catch up-" her voice became more twisted and a mix of his wife and son's voice "-With my old partner!" she grinned.

The man's cane was shacking under his hand "I said the deals off you monster~" he growled as he fixed his glasses. "There is nothing here for you anymore. Begone!"

Gold was silent...her face twisted in a mix of frustration and...jealousy?

"Ametrine." She spat in a stiff voice. "Focus."

"Ah, sorry about that Red~" she smiled as she walked away from the man and went into the Grand library....

The man looked at Gold "You shouldn't trust her young child."

She put one hand around her eyes and exhaled through her nose. "H-how am I supposed to be distrustful towards someone I love? I can't be." She murmured just loud enough for the male gem to hear.

"I-I already did shake it...a few times." Her face paled as she heard what Ame asked. "...I'm sorry."

A moment later he had been pushed against the inside wall of the foyer... Gold held two of her Slicers to his throat, and kept one knee jabbed into his stomach. Both hands lit on fire..."Tell me where it is.

"Thats... exactly what someone who did have them would say." She whispered, moving one Slicer to hover over his right hand. Flames began to travel down the one held to his neck... "Just tel me-tell us... where they are... and I'll get off..."

"O-ow!!" She stumbled back, rubbing her forehead... the flames and her weapons vanished. "This'd be a lot easier if you were compliant. Tell me where they are!"

"Youre making this more difficult than it needs to be." She growled softly. "If you don't have them, then where are they??"

She spat in frustration and ran off... not out of the castle, but down one of its halls. "Ametrine-" she called, looking around and in each room. "-he won't talk. He says they aren't here."

"N-no...I didn't think of doing that." She flinched and took a few steps back. "I can... I can find him!"

Gold yelped as if she had been hit, and hurried back down the hall, into the foyer...he had vanished.

"S-shit..." she took off down a different hallway, her hands coated in fire. "H-hey... fool...where'd you go!?"

She stopped momentarily to stare at the picture... then looked away, swiping one wrist across her eyes. She stood in front of the door and turned the handle to open it...

Gold stepped in the room... running her fingers across a nearby burn mark and examining the smudges left behind. They smelled of...faint chemicals. She went further... bending down to collect the necklace, flowers, and toy, holding them up to get a better look... she set them back down after a moment, mildly disturbed by everything in the room, and backed towards the door...

"A-Ame wants you. She requested I bring you to her." She shuddered at the memory of the murderous glare she had been given. "Q-quite terrifyingly, actually... its probably best t-that you just come with me."

God narrowed her eyes...maybe she could stall long enough, that Ame would come looking for them... it was risky, however... she leaned against the stone doorway.

"...why did you do what you did to her?"

"Both, really. What even happened between you two, to make her want to kill you? And... w-why do it to them??"

"...toys..." she glanced behind herself fearfully, down the hall, as if she would see the sadist running down the hallway, weapon aimed towards her gem... she turned back. "Come on."

"Oh so you want me to suffer the same fate as your-!" She bit back the rest of her remark and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Sorry. But please."

She caught the disk, being careful not to smudge the underside with her fingers... she turned without another word and went back down the hall toward the library...

"Ye-yeah. He gave me this. Said you could decode it or...something." she muttered as she held out the disk... it shook with the shaking of her hand

God squeaked in surprise. "D-did you just??" She shook her head quickly. "N-no... I mean yes... I mean... I don't know whats on it, I dont even know if I'll recognize anything on it!"

"O-okay." She stored the disk in her gem and looked quickly at Ame before leaving the library... she seemed anxious.

"W-wha?" She blushed faintly and gently pushed Star off. "L-like what?"

"H-hey! I do not have-" she cut herself off in mid sentence and sat up... staring at her legs. She growled and hauled herself up, taking off after Star. "You'll pay for that comment!"

Pyro hissed, then leaned forwards with a smirk on her face... she stretched her hands to the ground as they turned into paws, and she morphed... she had become a cheetah.

She flexed each of her legs experimentally before taking off again... closing the long gap between her and Star in about a minute. She leaped and crashed into the other gem, pinning her down. She grinned and touched her nose to Star's. "Gotcha~"

"No fair! You cheated~!" she pouted she kissed the cheetah's nose

"Nowheres in the rules did it say I couldn't shapeshift." She let the other gem up and pushed her head under Star's arm.

Star smiled as she began to rub her left shoulder blade....

Pyro seized up- her tail lashed and she shook under Star's hand, letting out a low growl... it wasn't threatening, however. She leaned into the other gem. "T-that, feels really good."

Star grinned as she kissed the animal, "What other sexy beasts can you turn into dear~? <3"

"I-I-" she shifted back to her gem form and narowed her eyes in bliss. "N-not many right now- fuck that feels goooood." She hummed and attempted to shift again, this time becoming a large raptor. She fluffed her feathers out. "T-theres this."

Star smiled "Oh...Mhmm...Have you though about having sex in one of those forms~?"

"W-what?!" Her eyes widened, and she shifted back... she stared blankly at Star. "I-I mean... I probably have thought about it... but I've never tried.

...w...why??"

"Well....pick a form and we'll try~<3"

"Oh my-what....??" She began to change to a tiger... but shook her head mid-transformation, flickering back. "N-no, I can't! It'll hurt, Star."

She smiled and kissed her "I'll be okay...>I want the pain Pyro..."

"I-I dont want you to be hurt though. And out here?? In the forest of all places?" She swept Star up and held the gem... "I'd at least want to be comfortable."

"Hah, Alright. You win."

After a month and a half passed they were on their way back to Homeworld..Colonist had swapped places with them...The area where they set up had died and turned into a barren waste...

It was the first time Star saw first hand what kindergartens did to the planets they were built on...

After a couple hours they arrived back on the Homeworld and a Peridot was there to debrief the Gems...

Pyro half paid attention to the debriefing... she was drifting around her thoughts, and happened to stop on what she and Star did... she narrowed her eyes as she let the memory play out.

They we now allowed to leave, the crew said their good bye's and went on their ways....

Star smiled as she looked at Pyro "P! We get time off~!!" she squeaked, holding the tome in her arms.

"Mmhm~" she hummed, though it was vague, as if she hadnt heard the other... she didn't move, instead staring blankly into space.

"Pyro!!" Star yelled "Come on~! I wanna put this book back in our room!"

"Mhh-wha?? ...oh! Y-yes." She shook her head quickly and nodded. "Lets go do that then... after that we can go for a drive around. Did I ever show you the garage??" Her eyes brightened at this. "Oh man, I gotta show you..."

"No..You never showe me~" she smiled "Lets go~!" she then ran ooff ...soon they got to their room, passing by Ame and gold...Star set the tome on their bed and looked at Pyro "Okay, Im ready~!"

"Alright, hold on... actually we should both change." She suggested with a sly smile. "I'll take you to get some food somewheres after we go shopping."

She vanished into a back room... a few seconds later she came back in a blue tank top and some slightly ripped jeans, with a black coat wrapped around her shoulders. "There. Just change-or not- then we'll leave."

"Okay, I'll buy myself a new outfit~<3"

"Alright. Lets go then."

They ended up in the basement level... Pyro flicked a switch on the wall- lights not unlike stage lights flashed on one by one, lighting up the garage... there were several Homeworld tech cars parked in rows along the walls, and spare parts lay haphazardly around, along with tires and jugs of gasoline.

"The garage~" she hummed, skipping off down the row, skimming each car. "Not a lot of gems use them...but oh boy~ theyre fun."

"Oh...I see..." she spoke as she looked at them all "So where is your car?" Star asked with a excited smile on her face while they walked past the other cars....

Ame looked at Gold, "Red. You saw that book the Black Sapphire had right?"

"Down further~" she kepted going, and stopped near the end of the row on the right. There was a sleek black race car, with thin blue and white stripes. "Here she issss!~" she moved forwards and ran her fingers along the hood. "This one is mine <3"

"Yeah." Gold glanced over to Ame, as if she already knew. "Thats another Tome, isnt it??"

"Yep."

Star looked at it and smiled "It looks beautiful~<3" she spoke as she looked at it in awe as she walked a circle around it...

Gold huffed in frustration. "So, its in her hands. How are we supposed to get it?? If we even try to hurt her we'll have Pyro snapping at our necks." She scowled. "No joke..."

"Isn't she? I... worked on her a bit in my spare time but haven't gone out lately." She grabbed the handle and opened the passenger side door with a mock bow. "Here, get in~"

She smiled, "We can steal it from her~"

Star got in and smiled as he looked around at the inside of the car..."Its pretty inside~" she grinned as her eyes were shinning...

Gold blinked. "...I...guess that could work. Okay...so when?"

Pyro went around and got in the drivers side, wiggling in her seat to get comfortable. Her hand drifted and she flicked numerous switches, powering everything up, then retrieved a key from her pocket and started the ignition.

"I'd just hold on if I were you." She murmured, grinning as she pulled out of her spot... the garage door opened and evening light flooded in. "I tend to go a little uhm... crazy~"

"Well they left somewhere, why not right now...Can you hack their door?"

Star looked concerned but held onto the handle on her door "Alright...Im holding on."

"Its... possible." Her expression changed, and she stopped. "I may need my book... I'll try it... if I can't though then I'll need my reference book." She put a hand to her forehead. "I also don't hack. I just know how to. So I-i may mess up."

"Good." She looked over at Star and flashed a smile as she turned out and slammed on the gas pedal, jumping up in speed rather quickly and flying down the straight stretch of pavement. "Woooooo! I fuckin forgot how good this was!!"

"ALright, lets get everything what you need~"

STar was screaming and panting "P-PYRO!! WHAT IF WE CRASH!?"

"Alright." They headed up to her room, and she shuffled through a few books on her shelf before taking two decent sized ones.
"There. Now we can go..."
------

Pyro waved her hand. "Hahaha! Relaaaaax, I know what I'm doing~" she did ease up on the gas however and slowed down to normal speed. "Thats part of the fun~ you never know whats gonna happen." She looked over quickly, as if she had realized something. "Sorry if I scared you though."

Ame smiled "Work your magic Red~"

".....Its alright~" she smiled as she laid back and looked outthe window, "This is nice~!"

Gold smiled shyly. "I-I'll try."

They arrived at the door a little while later... Gold bend down and examined the keypad before beginning to tap a long sequence of numbers.

"If im right-" she murmured, putting more focus on tapping. "This long chain of numbers should temporarily override her code, getting us in..."

"It is~" she looked around gleefully and turned down a side street. "Okay...u-uhm... b-babe... where are we headed?? You said something about clothes."
