In Humanoid forme, he hates wearing clothes. He only wears pants because it's socially acceptable for him to be shirtless with pants on.
Also, he finds he's uncomfortable without them. He's got no junk to show off ("Who needs it when you don't want to reproduce?"), no nipples ("Unnecessary accessories of the male chest"), and no belly button ("I wasn't born like this, so why do I need it?").
