The creature screeched as it bucked. It twisted and turned, jumped and thrashed it's tail, but nothing seemed to dislodge the smaller creature on it's back. "GET OFF OF ME!" It hissed. Niji just stared in dumbfounded silence. That was Nira on it's back. One of his own kind. "Never!" He heard her shout. Her voice was muffled however, as she was biting down on the creatures back. Niji then realized, his kind might not have teeth, but the points on their mouths made for a deadly defence weapon.
