I just used to get yelled at, a lot, as a kid, because my mom had a bad temper. I found out later it's because she has PTSD and other things and she just kind of had ... idk.

My dad would always be on my side, but he stopped as I got older, because I started yelling back.

I remember crying a lot as a kid, and threatening to run away.
Never did though.
