On Instagram, you can post pictures and videos.
It is sort of like Colors actually [minus the videos]. You can write a bio for your account and use tags on your posts, and etc.
Unlike Colors, Instagram notifies you on who liked your posts or followed you.

But on Instagram, you do not have to check on your followers list to see who is new to following you.
