His happiness, child-like behavior & optimisim came from the medicine he used to get at the looney bin. He was tired & deeply depressed. The docs & nurses liked helping Gary out. They didn't want him to talk about s'uicide so they gave him shots in his brain to make him happy, They also gave him shots to the brain for instant sleep.

Gary labels the medicine as "Happy Juice" & "Sleepy Juice".
[I know nothing of how the brain works or if this is possible. 'xD]

They had a new nurse come in & they gave her the medicine (they taught her what she needed to know, of course) & she overdosed him on "Happy juice" and that's why he's happy all the time. o-o

Yeah. His brain literally maked "Happy Juice", and if he hits his head too hard, His brain stops making more of the "happy juice" causing #TheRealGary to come out. Weird, huh?
