When Kate was a filly she was sad & lonely. then one day when she woke up & saw another filly was there, she called him Ryan. even though he was un-able to talk or think all he did was listen to Kate. If she needed something he would get it for her, if she was in danger he would protect her. But she never found out how he got there,(Ryan was created by kate's magic when she was sleeping that one night).
