Carmel may look human, but she's not. She can be quite the prankster with illusions. She'll commonly be found in Snowdin and Waterfall, and rarely at Hotland.
In a genocide run, she'll switch to her other appearance with shadowy claws on either side of her. She'll turn your soul grey, forcing you to move in the opposite direction. However, in a pacifist or neutral route, she'll only play harmless pranks on you.
