REPLY: To be "Spoiler-Free" I'll just give you a general idea of why. Basically the movie is "okay" as a regular movie, but as a Star Wars film it is quite dismal. It feels like a cheap-coat of Star Wars paint over poured upon a C-list Marvel film, they litterally had the same EXACT quips and snarks you'd expect to see in Ironman or The Avengers (which aren't THAT bad, just REALLY misplaced). A good deal of the elements didn't even really feel like Star Wars, it actually had more in feel with the new Star Trek films then it did to the Star Wars saga. Not to mention it to me felt like a very weak rehash that played it WAY too safe in some parts while messily sledge-hammering through canon in other areas. I could give you all better and stronger reasons, but I'd just spoil the entire film......

Hmm, looks like I'll have to see it. Like, I'll temper my expectations a bit, since I don't think any film could ever live up to this movie's hype, but it actually sounds like the kind of Star Wars movie I'd like.
