Draw lotsa pics & get use to the software. I'm a good artist but I never did digital art before. But now that I've drawn a few things, I can say that I'm gettin' a lot better. Also, read comments on urs and other's pics and watch lotsa paintings through. It actually took me a couple days to realize this (maybe I'm just stupid but I'll say it u anyways) u can view other ppls gallerys by tapping their username. Lastly, don't get discouraged if u don't get a lot of likes at first. Do ur best and just keep trying (;
