*Still not used to drawing humans nor comics*
My mom had the same reaction when I gave her the box.
When I saw the price, it hurt. Why must imported fruit be so expensive? I mean, ten dollars for a little box? Come on.
The pineapples were cheaper.
I guess it's difficult to bring cherries to my country. I haven't eaten those in more or less four years.
Anyway, sorry this looks bad. I get lazy on shading in comics. 3D isn't that great either ;w;.
Drew this to k¡ll time.

I think cherries tend to be expensive. Not sure why, though.
I hate it when cherries punch me, though. They've got a mean right hook, and they always go for the gut, too.

10 DOLLARS?!? @_@ That's so expensive... @_@
I looked at the supermarket today, but there wasn't any... Strawberries were at 2 or 3 euros the box though... xD
My grandfather have a giant cherry tree, we used to have a "cherry party" every late-summer, but now the birds are eating everything, ack! U_U

O_o I always wondered why my mom hasn't bought cherries that often...

Mangos? Bananas? @_@ We can't grow that in my country, it's too cold and not really sunny! D: I love mangos though... But they are expensive and not very tasty most of the time...
But cherries are awesome yes, my grandma made a great Clafouti with them, and my grandpa still cooks his annual homemade cherry-jam. It's so hard we can bend our spoons on it and make holes in our bread when we try to spread it, but hey, it's his jam, and it's delicious! *dansedanse*

Re : weeeell, France's got what I will call a "troll-climat". Summer can be hot... But not too hot. Winter is cold but not too cold. xD It depends on where you leave though. The north have a rainy reputation. The west coast can change in the blink of an eye (that's true, I was litterally wet in 10 seconds by horizontally-falling rain, and when I finally managed to put my coat on, the sun was bright again... TROLLED @_@). And in the south you can celebrate Christmas outside if you are lucky. The coldest region is the middle, strangely. It pratically never snows in Paris, but the old mountains at it's south are the coldest location, gah. xD But most of the time it's really cloudy even when it's hot, so all the tasty fruits can't have the sun they need to grow properly. D:
We've got good apples and pears though. xD
And yes, some people in my family love to cook. I love cooking! Do you want some of my Christmas orange-jam-flavoured/white-chocolate-frosted sablés'? @_@
