it's not selfish at all tbh. it's normal for an artist to be very territorial over their art style. there will be copy-cats/explorers out there and it can be hard to let them slide due to this. your art style is very unique and 100 percent yours and no one can change that. take a deep breath, hon.

We all do this, and may or may not regret it after words, but beleave me, if people are stealing your style in a way that hurts you, it needs to stop and fixed before you start feeling depressed. Trust me :,D theres nothing bad about being an A,ss hole for a min and letting out you angry, cuz i have seen people go WAY over the line more than you or senpai has, so please, its fine, you friends and fan will warm your heart and we will go with you to go aginst it :,)
