Dont tell me you havent seen this. w t f guys, Have you lost sight of effort? Have you been blind to the artists that -really- try? How is this? I dont really understand colors. Its not a thing of "good" and "bad" art, its putting love in your art and not putting love in it, but somehow derp art prevails? Idefk #rant

I try on art all the time, i get alot, but for some of my paintings, they should get more. What really annoys me is painting that took ppl 5-10 min and are in weeks best.-_-
I agree. people need to open their eyes.

I agree, when people poorly draw things and get a lot of likes I kind of do feel upset at the amount of likes they get, but at the same time I don't care. :/

I've been running my own research on ways to get the attention of other artists.
Sadly, having a lot of followers does indeed lead to people blindly liking even the simple paintings, however, I find that one can recieve more attention, when time is used to give attention to others. Everyone likes recieving comments and feed-back for their efforts. And most people will check your gallery if you leave them a good comment. Also, adding a description that is fun to read encourages people to share comments as well. If the thumbnail people see while browsing the feed-list or new paintings stands out as different from the rest, they'll more likely check it out.

I always put hard efforts into my artwork. Every time, too. I take my time with the harder ones.
I average about 9 or 10 likes per drawing. Not bad, though.

so true! I saw so many awesome paintings with only 2-3 stars.., I dont understand this u-u Its sad and unfair... for example this undertale hype.. so many likes for so less work!.. every day paintings like a sketch or a 15 minutes painting without any effort get soooo many likes and a wonderful painting of a flower or a pretty sunset get nothing.. unfair ....

well the thing is that the people liking are being nice because they think the person did their best thats all that matters its not about the likes its about the effort it only matters that they tried their best
