I was thinking about this today and yea i think monsters can bleed, but when they die they turn to dust bc their bodies don't have enough physical mattter in them to stay together after dying since their bodies are composed of and mainly held together by magic
but this still doesn't give people an excuse to draw chara being edgy w/ a bloody knife
