Since I am Canadian I thought I would honor one of the 138 Canadian troops killed in Afghanistan.
Captain Nichola Kathleen Sarah Goddard.
Born May 2nd 1980, Mandang, Papua, New Guinea.
Hometown, Calgary Alberta.
Killed by Taliban Ambush on May 17th, 2006, Panjwaii, near Kandahar.
The first Canadian female soldier to die in combat.
