"Come with me. You can trust me. I see your turmoil. I see the past in your eyes. I see the pain in what's left of your smile. You do a good job of hiding it. But I can see in you... more than anyone else can. And it makes me love you more. Come with me... I'll be the one who you can learn to trust. Unlike the others I won't betray you"

So calm and beautiful! The description really adds to it all too!

Thanks. The description is in reference to me and what I hope may happen in the future. Compared to all that's happened the past year

Wow, this turned out absolutely gorgeous, and the description tops it off!
I adore the coloring and lighting, and the description reminds me of the unfailing love of Christ :)
Amazing job Ceta!

This is so wonderful and gorgeous! :D I love how it turned out! I think your increased optimism is in itself a sign that you are being cared for spiritually, and, as crazy as it sounds, what you wrote in your description and the joyful sensation you experienced could actually have been communicated to you by Mother Mary herself, offering you comfort (she loves everyone as much as she loved her Son) and hope, and sharing how happy she is that you finally became acquainted with her somewhat and that you are leaning towards the truth. ^-^

Mother Mary is a motherly figure to all and always points them towards Christ.

This is so beautiful, both the description and the drawing.
You're getting really good at lighting.

You seem to have a firm artistic grasp on realism and underwater scenes.
We should talk. I try for realism, but I just don't get it right. Something is lacking, but I'm not sure what...

Re: Yes! ^-^ That's awesome! Oh, and have you heard of the documentary 'Racing Extinction'? I'm watching it right now (it's airing on all Discovery Channels). It's amazing.

Yep. Because of the way it was placed, it looked almost like it was on land. But here it's smoother and more spread out, so it looks more natural. Looking at real pictures, this is still kinda harsh for being underwater, but at least it looks good and suits the picture.

Re to a re:
I must admit, shading is one of my major weakpoints, along with backgrounds. I've actually been experimenting with lines vs. lineless. Still working out the kinks. But yeah, definitely gotta work on shading.
Thanks for the advice! Perhaps we should talk again sometime...

Re: Aw. xc Hopefully it'll air again (Animal Planet is considered to be a Discovery Channel, by the way.). The documentary itself was released on DVD-Bluray about two months ago, and it will probably eventually end up on Netflix.

Re: Pretty neat how Christ is the best relationship we can have, because He'll never let us down :)
Have you heard of the movie Princess Cut? It came out in theatres just recently, and my mom was given free tickets so we watched it for free. The film was solely about commitment and relationships, and waiting for God to choose your match for you, instead of running through heartbreak after heartbreak, trying to find love.
But the truth is, we don't neccessarily need a boyfriend, or someone physical to love. Our strongest relationship should be with Jesus, because He is the one who loves us and supports us the most.
God might have other plans for you before He allows you to have a lasting relationship, so don't expect one too earnestly. He knows what you want, and He will bring it to you.
Sorry, I did it again and blabbered away xP But wow, I am still in love with this painting <3
