1. the main three heroes you pick from and the three others you have gain exp. and level up instead of having a whole army.
2. in Patapon 3 as you level up you unlock new Uberheroes to use according to the class tree on the loading screen

3. data from Patapon 2 gets you an incredibly overpowered helm in the very beginning you can ONLY get if you have save data from Patapon 2

You can ONLY get it with patapon 2 data. So people who haven't played 2 are scr**ed out of an awesome helm XD
