Jun: Couldn't you do this BEFORE we got here?!
Six: No, and relax. You're invincible anyway.
Well, this is past due. It was rather difficult for me to get this done anytime sooner, what with my busy schedule last week (Birthday stuff, two Thanksgiving dinners, extra homework) but at least I got this done. Noble Six was played by my custom Reach Spartan (I think. I haven't played Reach in ages! All I remember is that I had a Grenadier helmet and am orange with red).
Anyway, hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Dude, my bros and I have been playing Reach lately! It's ourfavorite Halo game (have CE, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, Anniversary, and 4)
I was a Warrant Officer grade II on my dad's Xbox, but we got our own Xbox so now I'm a Sergeant xD I sport the... Whatever Noble Six's default is but with all the upgrades. I usually have Green w/ Black accents or vice versa.
Awesome comic (even though it doesn't end with a happy ending for.... whatever that thing is xD) and nice to see a something Reach.

Anyone else ever make their emblem the Triforce? At least once? xD

Re: (Series Redo)
Yeah, i'm getting a little giddy just wanting to do it. Or maybe because it's December; that's when i was last motivated for the series.
Well, you don't have to worry about forgetting, the revamp will go over it again, in hopes of clarity.
:D

I'm probably not very good at giving art advice but I'll try my best. Since you want to become better at realism, I'll share with you how I do it
One way to improve at realism is to do lineless. Although lineart can look good if done right. Depends on the effect you want. Another thing to remember is shading and highlighting. How the light reflects on an object. Obviously, regions with an absence of light creates shadows which would be darker than the base color. Where the light hits creates values closer to white. When shading, notice how the changes in values isn't obvious, so shading shouldn't have a lined look to it. Blending is key. Also, practicing by having a reference of a real life object is great! Observation will show where the shading should be and how it should look. When shading, don't shade with pure black or white. Go gradual, and choose shades slightly lighter and darker than the base color, *eventually* working your way to black or white
How to (in next comment):

-Start with base sketch in a neutral color like grays or even light red
-Once you've fixed up the sketch layer to how you'd like, apply your base colors to fill in the outline
-Shading time, keep in mind the tips I've told you
-Keep working until the picture is to your liking
-Backgrounds vary, I'm only good with undersea backgrounds. These ones have darker blues as the depth increases, and lighter as the view gets closer to the surface. The third brush is great for the surface waves. And don't forget light rays shining through, fading as depth increases
For inspiration and learning techniques, watching playbacks of your favorite artists/pieces show you new ways of getting a certain effect. I've had an artist here whose art I loved and wanted to emulate her. By trying to practice her techniques without tracing or copying I've created my own style. Keep practicing too, it takes nonstop drawing for a few months to notice anything. My art here was terrible at first

I started here in February of 2014. To see my old art, go to @cetas-old-account and go to the bottom. Compare it to now, and that's just the time I've improved with digital art. Before then I started doing notebook drawings ten years ago (with, of course, dolphins and whales). That helps with anatomy and basic shading concepts. That's another thing. Good anatomy, proportions, and perspective are a must

I've noticed that even a little bit of shading makes a large difference in paintings. Keep trying new styles and one will stick. I'm also on Instagram and I have kik and email. The first two I'd be quickest at replying

re: We use to play on our dad's, but yeah, we got our own niw, and my bros are already Warrant Officers grade 1 (they finished the Campaign together, on our dad's Red and I co-op'd it).
They have pokeballs as emblems in 4? What??
We like 4 a lot too, it's our second favorite.
Unfortunately we currently do not have Xbox Live.
-Reach spoilers-
Yeah, it seems Jun was the only survivor. I read Reach's wiki about the origins and ending of the characters as my bros were playing. They played the final level (Lone Wolf) like 4 times because of how cool the death scene of 6 was xD He kicks azz even when dying.

Re: Just looked it up, I can see how it can be done. Yeah, it has tire treads xD but whatev'. I'm usually good with the basic emblems.
Yeah, I really only play Nintendo online.
