Smirks "well now two for one! Throw them into the tanks in my room now!" The crew members nods and immediately take them both to the rank in the captains cabin

As soon as the girls were put in the tank, the sister lashed out, hissing and biting at the crew members. Kai was huddling in a corner. Terrified.

The crew members back away a bit put one points his pistol at them

She ,not even phased, screams profanity at them. "LET ME GO YOU PISSBAG!! ILL FUCKING KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!! ILL FUCKING RIP YOU TO PIECES AND USE YOU AS A TOPPING ON MY SEAWEED!!"

Dagger shots his own crew member that was pointing his pistol at the mermaids and had no emotion when he did it "how many times have I told you to not to try and harm the merchandise?" The crew member her show groans in pain but is still alive

She silences at the shot with how loud it was. Kai jumped and screamed in fear.

(I want them to actually manage to get the girls to the scientist.)

"Take this sorry sap and get him patched up" the other crew member nods and drags the other one out of the captains sight

(Ok and then like dagger changes his mind when they're like tortued and tries to free them?)

She started screaming again. Kai was scared he was going to shooy her next. "Lia... j-just stop... please.."

He starts to walk towards them to get a better look at them

They look fairly similar. Lia is taller/longer than Kai, and hars pink eyes, while Kai has blue. And Lias hair is abit longer than Kais.

"I'll be honest with you two...never thought I see the day that I find me some mermaids" chuckles "luck must be on my side today"

Lia hisses and tries to cut him with sharp finger nails. "Wont be so lucky WHEN I FUCKING KILL YOU!!"

Catches her hand that she was trying to cut him with and uses his other hand to point his pistol at her head "I like to see you try cutie"

She backs off and gets scared, then looks away, trying to pull her arm away. "Let me go dickwad!"

"Very well" let's go of her arm and tries to get a better look at the other mermaid

Huddled in the corner, and has her face burried in her lap, her arms around her tail.

"My my aren't you a shy one@

"...shes crying. You just cant hear it because she cries silently.... Dickwad.." lia growled at him.

"Well pardon me for being a gentleman Ice queen you better get use to it here cause you two won't be leaving anytime soon"

Kais body starts shaking, and lia hugs her, which makes her head come out of the water, and Dagger can see many tears streaming down her face.

He does his best to ignore her tears "now then I don't think I've probably introduced myself. I'm the captain of the ship Captain Dagger"

"Well guess what asshole. Your new name is Dickwad." Lia growles, and lets Kai go back to crying in the corner.

Growls at them "alright then what are your names unless you just want me to call you two Ice queen and miss crybaby?!"

"She glares at him.her neck cracking slightly. "You fucking call me that and Il snap your neck." Her eyes were now blood red. And looked intimidating.

"Oh I so like to see you try with a bullet in your head" points his pistol at her again "Ice queen"

Shw hisses and grabbed the gun and threw it, grabing hia collar nd throwing him into the tank.

"Gah!" Gets up angrily and takes out one of his knives

She hisses and swings her claws at him. Before either could actually hurt the other Kai hit a pressure point on Lia, making her pass out and pushed Dagger out of the tank. She help Lia close, not wanting her to get hurt.

"I-im terribly sorry about my sister... she has a temper she cant really control.. I-I deaply apologize..."

Growls a little and puts away his knife "very well...but if this happens again I will not hold back and will hurt her"

She jumps. "Nononono! Please dont!! Ill take injuries for her If i have to.. she hates when I get hurt, so she would learn to stop... just.. please dont hurt lia..."

"....fine....but I am holding you responsible for that. If she does anything aggressive its on you."

She nods franticly. "Y-yes sir!" Immediately regreting her decision, she looked downat Lia.

A week later, Lia is screaming at Daggerfor something. "YOUR SUCH AN ASSHOLE!! I SHOULD FUCKING SLAP YOU OR THAT!!

"For what...?" Gives a bored expression

.there was an empty bottle in the water. "THERES PROBABLY LIQOR IN THE WATER NOW, WHICH COULD PROBABLY KILL US AND ITS YOUR FUCKING FAULT DICKWAD!!!" She picked up the bottle and threw it at him.

Easily dodges the bottle "relax Ice queen that bottle as empty to begin with I use it to send messages"

She growles and practically jumps out of the tank and tries to pull him bac in, making claw marks on his skin"

Backs away and winces in pain "why you little!" Takes out his knife "Girl! Up in front now!"

Kai, who was sittting silently in the corner, looked up. She paniced and pulled Lia off of him and went over to him. "Kai what are you doing?? Dont listen to him!!"

Takes Kai's arm "if you listen to me maybe you'll listen after I do this to her" places the knife gently on her arm

Kai winces as the blade easily cut through and she hissed in pain, pulling her arm back and holding the cut. Lia was frozen. 'Why did Kai let him do that???!' "Wha-a.." she stared at the wound in confusion.

"Next time I won't be so gentle. Let this be a lesson" points the knife at them both

Kai shook, and looked at Dagger. "C-can i have a cloth or something...?"

He cuts off his own clothing and gives it to her

"Th-han-nk you..." she put it around her arm before going back to her corner. Lia was mesmerized at how he kindly did so without word.

Goes to his desk and looks through his maps and starts to calculate when they'll arrive to their destination

She stared for a while.

A few more weeks pass and Kai has cloths all up and down her arms, some bruises and is about to get yet another because of Lia.

Dagger somehow feeling guilty for hurting Kai so much but doesn't know why

She has her eyes clenched shut, holding out her arm. "J-just g-ge-et it o-ovee-r wi-ith..."

He was about to do it but hesitates 'w-why...why can't I do it!'

She looks at him and shakes slightly. "J-just d-do-o it al-lready!!"

"....N-no..." Grips his knife and tosses his it on the ground

She looks up at him. "W-why??!"

Doesn't answer her and let's go of her arm

She stares up athim confused, before going back to her vorner, and stared at the opposite wall, as its the only thing she does.

Dagger goes to check on the deck not after looking back at the girls 'why couldn't I do it...?'

'Why didnt he do it...?' Kai was just as confused.

A month later, and the cloths have disappeared, but were replaced with scars. Shestill sits in the corner,and Lia has finally shut up also. She just drifts around awkwardly. Theur almost tor the land scientist guy.

'Finally we're almost there...but...why do I feel like this is wrong...?'

Eventually in a few days, they arrive at the scientist guys place.

Kai felt something wasnt right about why they stopped.and Lia wasannoyed she was sitting on the boat for monthd and doesnt have a clue where she is.

"Ok get that tank to go now!" The crew members go unscrew the tank and lift it up

Both girls watch, confused where their going now.

Dagger leads the crew to the scientists lab

Kai looks at all the equipment around her, amazed by how cool it all looks

"Ok you scientist where are you!"

Theres sounds from the back and he comes out."sorry about that!" That was the main scientiats. 5more lined behind him (whom you conteol.)

"I brought your mermaid and an extra so I expect double pay!"

"Double pay?? Oh boy.. how much was it originally?"

"It was 5,000 for one mermaid"

"Uhh... "he looms at the men behind him. "I only have 5000. Im pulling it out of your pay checks."

The other scientists didn't like the idea but knew having two mermaids was very rare so they nod

He pulls out 5000 "thats all I have for now. You will get your other 5000 in about a month."

Dagger takes the money without hesitation "thank you for your cooperation doc" snaps his fingers and the crew bring in the tank

Kai and lia were both scared.

One of the scientists goes up to look at them "my my...never thought I see one up close"

Kai backed away ,and Lia hissed.

Another scientist smirks "I can't wait to gain some data from them" dagger ignores them and starts to take his leave

"Come back in a month to retrieve the reat of your money." Withthat, he smirked and began with the girls

A month later, when Dagger returns for his money, he can see Kai hanging in the air by her hands, half dead, with way more scars and fresh cuts alining her skin. Lia was in a human sized testube with water in it.she was unconscious with tubes and wires coming out of her bodt.

His eyes widen at the sight of them "WHAT THE HELL?!?!"

The main scientust appears behinf Kai. "Oh! Hello Dagger! I have your money right over here!" He goes over to a dwsk with papers covering it nearby."

Doesn't notice him getting the money but more focused on the girls "wha.....what did you do to them?!?"

"We re testing how Specimen A reacts to pain, while learning the bone structure with B." He grabs the 5000 and goes over to Dagger. "Here you go! 5000 in the green!"

'T-this....this is my fault....I brought them here without knowing....I only did it for the money...but now....' He grits his teeth and tightens his fists and whispers "let them go..."

The scientist looks at him."we cant do that. We re too far in testing to juat give up now. Just take your money and leave."Kai started to wake up and watched them with one eye.

"I'm not asking I'm telling you.....Let. Them. Go." Glares at the scientist

He backs away slightly. "You cant tell me what to do. Get out of my lab!"

Pulls out his pistol "and who's gonna make me? I'm not leaving without the girls"

"Sincewhen do YOU care about them?"

Points the pistol at the scientist "ever since we were on our way back"

The scientist glared at him, and pulled a pistol out of his jacket, and pointed it at Dagger.

"Is that supposed to scare me? Cause it ain't working"

He smirked and put his finger on the trigger, Kai zscreamed just as he pulled it, making him jump and shoot Daggers Shoulder.

"Gah! Why you!" He shoots the scientist back

It hits him in the neck, and he falls the the ground. Kai shakes and tries to get down. She realizes theres a 6ft sdeep pool below her, and she can see the scales flaking off her tail, along with some skin peeling

Dagger also notices and shots the rope that's holding her so she can get down to the pool

A slight squeek was heard before she dropped in, her hands were still tied together. She pokes her head out and looked at Dagger.

He looks at her "I'm sorry..."

"...wh-hy...?"

"Why what...?"

"Why did you save me...?"

"Because...after seeing you like that...I wanted to help you and fix my mistakes"

She stared athim, and smiled slightly.

He smiles at her back "now let's get you and your sister out of here"

She nods and gets the rop on her arms off.

He runs to see Lia "I'll get you out of there"tries to figure out how to free her and as he does Kai can hear the other scientists on their way unknown about the event that just happened

She gasps. "The others are comeing!!" She whisper yelled. Lia was unconsious, and he could see a screen that said "please enter your passcode"

He heard her "son of a....quick hide!" He whisper yells as he drags the body away while also getting the money for himself

She goes to the bottom of the pool, and had a plan. She made bubbles that rose to the top.

Dagger hides behind a wall and has his knife ready while the scientists enter one of them go to Lia and enter the code to check on her status while two others see the bubble and go to investigate it

She smirks and quickly comes up and grabs one, pulling him under and practically sit on him at thr bottom.

Lia twitched slightly.

Dagger quickly shots the others and stabs the scientist that unlock the passcode in the back. "Thanks for the password" he then starts to get the stuff out of Lia through the computer

One by the, the tubes and wires disconnected for Lias body, and she started to wake up, looking around slightly with blurry vision. "Huh...?"
Kai waited until he stopped moving before comeing back up, and looking at Lia. "Lia!"

Dagger starts typing stuff and the same tank emerges from the ground with water and he punches a button to free Lia from the test tube

The water drains and the tube opens, and she starts choking

He quickly gets her out of it and into the tank

She pants a few times and looka up at him. Confused why he of all people is helping her

He then runs to Kai "ready to leave this place?" He gives her a smile

She nods. And gestures for him to pick her up

He picks her up and quickly gets her into the tank

As soon as she gets in, she and Lia hug.

He smiles at the scene and saw that the thank has wheels on the bottom some starts to push the tanks out

"Where are we going?" Kai asked looking up at Dagger

Keeps pushing the tank "back to my ship"

"Your ship?"

He nods as he pushes the tank

They look at everything they pass asthey head to the boat.

As he gets close to the ship he whispers to them "people don't know that your real so pretend that your wearing costumes"

"Uhm.. o-ok.. " they both pretent to look borredand. Lia plays with her nails. Making sure to keep their heats over the water.

Dagger manages to get to his ship and the girls inside and gets the tank to his cabin "phew..."

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah...just fine...but what about you two?"

"Were fine. Kinda tired." Kaisaid.

"You need anything at the moment?"

Lia nearly yells. "fOOOD Those asscheeks wouldnt feed us for shit!!"

He nods "ok be right back" he leaves the cabin and goes to get them food

The girls chat to eachother, waiting for Dagger.

After a few minutes he comes back with a big plate of seaweed for the both of them

Lias eyes widen and pretty much snatches the plate from him and suckes down most of it, and leaves the rest for kai.

He chuckles and let's to get the ship ready to set sail

Kai finishes and she and lia go back to chatting

The feel that the boat started sailing to the sea

Lia smiles. "Kai... we re going home!" Unlike Lia, kai wasnt happy.she actually wanted to stay with Dagger. She didnt really care for home anymore. Nobody but Lia cared about her anyway.

As the boat sails Dagger puts something to hold the wheel and goes to check on the girls

Lia is practically bouncing with joy,while Kai, is sittibg in her corner, looking down at the water around her

He enters the room and sees Lia "well someone looks happy"

"I cant wait to go home!!" She bounced. Kai, just sat in silence.

"Kai? Aren't you happy to go home?

"....i dont want to go home.." "WHAAT" lia looked at her. "DID THOSE ASSCHEEKS DO SOMETHING TO YOU???! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???!!!"

"Whao calm down Lia let's hear her out."

"I dont want to go home.. because whats the point if im just going to be pushed around again.. nobody but Lia really cares about me.. I wasnt even suposed to happen..."

He looks at Lia "is that true...?"

She nods alittle. "Our mom was told it she was going to have one kid, and planed to have one kid. But Kai and I both came out.. we re twins. Which explains why we look so alike.

"I see..."

"I was first, so I was deemed the oldest, when they realized kai was next mom almost didnt want her, but decided to keep her anyway."
Kai seemed to lower her head the more Lia talked.

Growls a bit and tightens his fist "what mother...wouldn't to keep their own children...."

Lia shrugs. "Appearently ours."

"Well Kai if you truly don't want to go home you are more than welcomed to stay here"

She looked up, and had tears in her eyes. "R-really??"

He nods with a smile

She smiles. "Yes! I would love that! Thank you!"

He smiles "your welcome, but are you ok with that Lia?"

" I guess.." 'ill miss her though..."

"is there anyway you two can still stay in contact?"

"Not that we know of.."

"I see...Kai will you be ok not seeing your sister for a long while?"

She nods hesitantly.

"Are you sure...? Cause last thing I want you to do is regret your decision"

"She nods again.

"Alright you two should spend as much time as you can until we reach our destination"

They nod and lia skoots closer to Kai and they talk the whole time.

Dagger let them have their alone as they set sailed to where he first found them

The talked and talked and talked.

It takes them several months but they finally reach their destination

The tank was sitting on the deck and the girls were giving their hugs goodbye.

"Ready to go Lia..?"

She nods and goes to the edge of the tank. "Bye guys... Kai... do you think you could try to visit every once in a while?" Kai nodded. "Ill try to. I promise." They hug once more, before Lia climbs out and jumps into the sea. She pops up, waves at them, then disappears in the water.

As she disappears in the water Dagger whispers "I promise you Lia I will protect her with my very life..."

She stares at where lia disappeared and tried not to cry ,but tears filled her eyes.

He sees her cry and goes to her and hugs her

She hugs him tight and cries ailently on his shoulder.

He lets her and pets her hair to try and calm her down

She slowly calmed down and started to fall asleep on his shoulder

He lets her stay like that since he doesn't want to disturb her sleep

She fell asleeo and went limp on his shoulder. "Mh~..."

'Great...now what do I do?'

She slid slightly back into the water, but was still on him.

He blushes a little since she's still in him

A few weeks later, thwir in the center of a huge storm, making the ship sway violently.

Dagger tries his ship to keep it steady from the storm

in the tank thats in his room, watter is going everywhere, and shes struggling to stay in the tank.

Tries his bet to his ship away from the storm

Theres a huge sway, and thump, that knocks Kai out of the tank, and she panics. "D-AGG--"she started to choke.

He heard her and panics "Kai!!" Gets off the wheel and quickly runs to the cabin and sees her and quickly picks her up and back into the tank

There isnt much water left in th tank since its everywhere. She pants and looks at him with scared eyes.

He sees her scared face and can only think of one idea but will cost his life "I'm sorry.." He quickly picks her up again and head outside the cabin and onto the deck 'she can survive these waters but I can't but it's the only way!'

"She looked up ay him with a "what are you doung" face and held onto his shirt. "Dagger... dont do this! Please!

He doesn't answer but gives her a quick kiss "I promised your sister...I'll protect you even if it costs me my life...no go and live!" He throws her into in the ocean and as she falls she can see a single tear run down his face

As soon as he fell into the water, she came back up, and tried to get back to the boat, but the waves kept pushing her away. "DAGGER NOO!! DONt leave me.. please... "

He sees her trying to get back "I'm so sorry..." He gives her a small smile then the boat starts to tear and break and fall into the sea with Dagger sinking in as well

(THIS IS ACTUALLY MAKING ME CRY!!!)
she practically screams and she goes under, trying to find him.

She can see him floating in the water sinking and Dagger is thinking as he slowly losses conscious 'so...this is how I die...huh...?'

She goes over to him and pulls im back up. "I wont let you die!! Not today, not ever!!" She got him up to the surface and tried to find land.

He's unconscious when she pulls him above water

She swam for what seemed like hours before she finally found a small island. But she pssed out herself before she could make it all the way there.

Dagger wakes up on said Island, but theres no Kai to be seen anywhere.

"Ugh...where....am I?" Rubs his head

After a bit of observing. He noticed something black in the water about 100ft away.

"What the heck is that??"

It only moved with the water, it looked almost like.... black hair. Apon looking alittlw cloae, it had black sclaes. A fish with a wig perhaps?

"What the hell is that?" Gets closer to try and get a better view at it

After getting closer, he realized it wasnt a fish--.. well in a way it was, but also wasnt. It was Kai. Unconscious in the water. Guess the water didnt push her into the island.

"Kai!" Runs and dives in the water and gets her at least close to the island

She was unconscious, and had a laprge gash on her arm. Must have been from a piece of the boat when she saved him.

He sees the gash on her arm and immediately treats it

She wakes up a week later, in a daze.

Dagger hasn't left her side once

She sits up slightly and looks around. Her vision is alittle hazy. Maybe she hit her head.

"Kai..?"

She jumped slightly and looked at him. Her eyes widened and tears filled them, she tackled him with a hug, and cried into this shoulder. "D-dont ever f-fucking do-o that again..."

He hugs her back "sorry..."

She cries on his shoulder, before stiffing, up quickly pulling away but going right back for a kiss.

He blushes but kisses her back

She wrapped her hand around him and hold him close. 'Dont ever leave me Dagger...'

He holds her close never wanting to let her go ever again

She pulls away slightly and stared at him.

He stares at her

She smilss at him. "Uhm..."

He smiles at her and caresses her face "so that's why you choose to stay"

"She smiles lightly and leans on her chest.

He smiles and softly rubs her head

She shifts to get comfortable. "So... what now...?"

"Now...I got to find a new ship for us..."

"Where are we going to find one?"

Takes out his telescope and tries to find one out in the sea

She waits.

"I don't see anything..."

"Keep looking theres gotta be something!"

"I am looking! But there's nothing but water!"

She grabs the telescope, his hand, and went into the water, and swam pretty fast out into the water.

"Well might as well wait here..."

(She took him with her. She grabbed his hand too.

"Whao!" As he gets pulled with her and makes sure to stay above the water

She goes out far enough that noether can see the Island, and stops, and gets him on her shoulders, so he has a view. Vnow try.

He nods and starts searching again until he sees a good sized ship "I see one!"

She smiles. "Where?"

He points to the north "over there!"

She grabs his hand again and goes north.

He holds onto her tight

They get close to the boat. "Got a plan?" Before they speak, they hear a screak and a familiar voice."LET ME GO YOU FLITY FLEEBAG--" There was the sound of choking and laughing comeing from the boat.

He whisper yells to her "stay hidden I'll go see what's happening!" Seika closer to the boat and gets to the ladder

She nodded, and looking at them, he saw Lia being thrown inro a tank thats almost the whole size of the deck. She has ther hands and tail tied together. "LET ME GO YOU ASSBAG BITCHLOID!!"

'Not on my watch!!' He grabs his pistol and starts shooting the crew and threw several knives at anyone who tries to get near him

Lia watched while trying to rip therope off. "D-dagger!"

"Don't worry I'll get you out!!" Shots another crew member and throws more knives at the remaining crew

"Where's Kai??"

Snaps the knock of the last crew member and pants out of breath "she's...safe...don't worry..."

Kai was in the water below. "Is everything safe up there?? Can I come up now?"

Keigo goes to the edge of the boat and gives her a smile and thumbs up indicating everything is ok now

She smiles and gestures for him to get her up.

He nods and gets her up on the ship and into the tank

She sees Lia and hugs her.

He smiles seeing them hug

Kaiand Lia immedietly start talking. Abd after hours of talking, Lia looks up at Dagger. "Uhm.. Dagger? You dont mind me staying with you guys for a while do you?"

He chuckles "not at all your more than welcomed to stay here as long as you like"

She smiles. "Ever since you got Kai and I out of that Lab, theres been humans all over the sea. They know we exist now. So their trying to find us.

He frowns "I see...I'm sorry....I'm going to make this right"

"How? Theres like.. hundreds of them."

He smirks "did you forget who I am? I'm captain dagger! He who slain a hundred men in one night."

They both stare at him blankly, and Lia cringes. "You kill your own kind? Thats disgusting." Lia spat.

"Oh please there are far worse people out there than me and you two should know that"

Lia Scoffs. "Thats still disgusting. Who kills their own kind??"

He gives a little chuckle as he goes to steer the ship "you'd be surprised about that"

Kai was quiet the whole time, she was tired and was have asleep against the wall of the tank.

Dagger set his new ship to sail and try to find other people who are hunting mermaids and take them down with his own hands

Lia cringes moat of the time. Some of the boats already had Mermaids on their boat.

Dagger sees the other mermaids through his telescope and grits his teeth "time to get to work" steers his bit to the other boats

Lia decided to help, and distracted the crew members in the water.

While the crew members where being distracted Dagger goes in for the kills

She kept helping, distracting crew members, and helpped the mermaids back home.

Dagger keeps the crew members occupied while Lia frees the other mermaids

"Go swim! Tell the others to stay in the town and dont go to the surface!!" They nodd and swim off.

Dagger finishes off the last crew member "that's the last of them"

She comes up. "Good. Any other ships nearby?"

He takes out his telescope to see if there are any more ships

She waits.

"No...I don't...wait! I see one more!"

"Where??"

He points at the east "over there!"

She dives under and goes in that direction, to distract the members

Dagger sets sail and heads to the other ship "you doing ok Kai?"

"Yeah im fi--" she was cut off by a scream. A crew mwmber from a previous boat snuch on his boat, and grabbed Kai, he threw her off the boat and dived in. He began to strangle her. Lia was too far away to do anything.

"Oh no you don't!!!" Dagger immediately dives into the water and gets to that other crew member and stabs his neck from behind

She starts to cry and pushes him off of her and hugs Dagger. Mean while ,she was distracting the crew members, but they actually catch her. And She screams.

Lia was distracting

'Damn it I won't make it! I never thought I resort to using "it!" He yells so Kai, Lia and the other mermaids can hear "Cover your ears now!!"

They all do. "Dagger what are you goibg to do??" Kai asked

"Something I hoped to never do again" he brings his fingers to his mouth and starts to whistle a very high pitched whistle that slowly starts to damage the crew members ears that they feel their brain throbbing in pain

She watches in confusion. "Hoe do you do that??'

"Something I learned a long time ago but I'll fill you in on it later right now we need to save the rest"

Shenods and went over to the ship sistracted them. 'Hurry up Dagger.."

He nods and gets back in his ship to steer it

She kept distravting them, but before he even got there, some of the members actually fell off the boat.

He gets close to the ship and sees the some of the crew fell off the boat "mmh?"

V"that whistle made their heads hurt so bad, they cant even see straight!" Kai laughed.

He chuckles "glad it worked like how it's supposed to"

She and lia helped The other mermaids back once he got them off the boat

Dagger killing off the remaining crew members

The girls get back on the boat and relax. "Is that the last of em?

Dagger cracks his neck "yup that was the last one "

Lia sighs and gets comfortable "good... Im beat."

He chuckles "why don't you two relax while I sail to a new destination?"

They bkth nod

He sets sail and has the ship move to its new destination

They relax and chitchat

After several hours they reach to an island with no people to be seen anywhere

The girls look at it.

"A perfect place for a little r and r"

"R and R?"both girls ask simultaneously.

"Oh.." both girls climb out of the tank and tinto the water, then go over to the beach and rested in the sand.

He goes to his cabin to change clothes

"Wow.. the sands really warm.."

He comes doing wearing some normal looking clothes and hardly looks like a pirate right now

Kai looked at him and smiled.

He sees her and smile back and lays down on the sand relaxing

She rolled so she was next to him and held her his hand. "Your a great person.. saving all the mermaids being captured.."

He smiles and holds her hand back "well...I was just doing the right thing and want to fix what I started...'

She smiled and kissed his cheek.

He blushes a little and chuckles then kisses her cheek

She giggles.

He wraps his arm around her

She moves closer and gets comfortable.

He smiles and let's her

She starts to fall asleep.

He rubs her head softly as she falls asleep

She slept peacfully.

Kai was floating around, watching the sky on the rare occasions she ever got to.

Dagger was out in sea with his crew looking for a mermaid to snatch

She heard the sounds of a ship while she was watching the sky, and looked around

Dagger spots her "mermaid lads!!"

Kai looks at the boat, panics, and goes under, calling for her sister

"Don't let her get away!!" The crew threw in the nets to catch her

The end of her tail gets caught, and she starts screaming, Lia swimming up to her, and tried to help her

The feel her tug the net and they start pulling her up

From the panic,and the movment of the neck, Lia gets stuck also.

The crew keeps pulling them up

Kai holds onto Lia as their pulled up.

The crew gets them up and throw them into a tank big enough for the both of them

Lia immedietly tries to swing her claws at them

Some of the crew gets hit "I see we have a fighter" dagger says as he comes to see the mermaids

Lia sits in front of kai, and hisses. "Let us go!!!"

"That's not going to happen my dear"

She growled and swung her claws at him

He easily catches them

She hisses and bites him, drawing blood

He doesn't show any reaction and pulls her hair hard "is that really the best you got?"

She skreiks in pain and pulls away.

He's still pulling her hair showing no emotion

Lia keeps trying to pull away, tears staring to form, Kai comes over and tries to help."let her go!! Pl-lease!!"

He lets her go roughly

.she falls ibto the water, and kai hold oto her tightly

"Let's get moving people!!" The crew sets sail

Kai starts to cry, and hold onto Lia

"Get this tank to my cabin now!" The crew push the girls tank go Daggers cabin

Kai holds onto Lia tight, afraid of what will happen next

The crew gets the tank to the cabin and they take their leave

The girls sob in the corner of the tank

Dagger enters the cabin and slams the door shut

The girls jump and cowar in fear

He sees the fear in their faces and just stares at them

Tears run down Kais face, as she burries herself in Lias arms

"In all my day's never would I thought I find two mermaids"

Lia hisses at him "piss off! Shes already crying hard enough!!!"

"Though you are quite rude"

She hosses again, and holds her sister closer

"You think hissing at me will scare me? Well think again missy"

Lia growles, seeming to give up, and looks down at the crying Kai in her arms

Dagger heads to his desk and looks though his maps

Kai sobs qiietly in Lias arms ,who tries to comfort her

He looks through his maps

A few weeks later

Kai and Lia has gotten somewhat used to being in the ship, but refuse to speak to anybody but eachother.

Dagger comes to check up on them

Kai is sleeping in Lias arms, who looks exhausted. Like she hasnt slept in weeks

Dagger walks to his desk and doesn't at them "you should get some rest like your sister"

She didnt respond, holding onto her sister abit tighter

"You really think I would attack you in your sleep?"

Still no reaponce, she avoided eye contact like her life depended on it

He sighs and throws a knife of the floor where she is "he's the deal I'll let you sleep and if I come anywhere near you you can stab me with that knife"

She jumped when the knife hit the floor, and moved to another corner, still holding Kai, staring at the knife fearfully

"That knife is for you moron"

She shook her head before hiding under the water, holding Kai. I dont think she wants it

He sighs "bunch of weaklings"

She pet Kais hair carfully. "K-kai..."

He goes to his desk and heard the name

"....wake up soon... i-i dont think i coud keep my eyes open..." she whispered, still petting Kais hair

He looks through his maps again "again I'm telling you, your allowed to sleep I'm not going to harm you"

She ignored him, and held tight onto Kai

"Your very stubborn you know that. Which could get you...or your sister Kai killed"

She continued to ignore him, holding onto her tigght. 'I wont let anything happen to kai...

He looks through his maps and sees that they won't arrive till a few months 'just great..

A few more weeks later, now its Kai with Lia in her arms.

Dagger is watching them from his desk

Kai looked like she was about to cry, and Lia looked like she was exhausted

He sighs "is there anything you girls need?"

Kai ignored him

He gets up and walks to them "there's only so much I can take being ignored and right now you've reached your limit"

Kai got scared and hid under the water

He grabs her hair from the water "can't hide from me"

Kai screams

He pulls her up from the water by pulling her hair up

She screamed more and started to cry.

"I've bee doing my hardest to be nice to you two you should be grateful"

"I-if youzu w-were b-be-wing n-nice.. you-u wou-uld hav-ve let u-us go bzby now!!!" She cried, and tried to make him let go

"Sorry but that won't be happening we are already long gone from where we got you two" he doesn't let go

Kai cries and lands a punch on him, whoch knockes him back enougbto make him fall onto his back. Kai looked over, and grabned the knife from before, and pointed it at him.

He gets up with ease and sees she has the knife "what good would that do you?"

She threw it at him and it hit him just inches next to hos heart

He shows no reaction and spits out blood "close" he takes the knife out of him "but not close enough"

Kai gets scared at forces herself in a corner

(Have him put the kbife back if like.. she wants to try agin or somwthing. ideas

He throws the knife back where it was on the floor "unless you have something original don't pick it up"

a month later, Lia has become depressed, to the point she wont even talk to Kai.

Dagger woke up to loud sobbing, and the name lia being repeatted.

He goes to check on them "what's going on?"

He saw that the water was red, and the knife was in the water. Kai was holding onto Lia, who had blood running fown her body from her neck. Her eyes were closed, and she was pale.

His eyes widen "what did you do?!?!"he rips off his shirt and tries to stop the bleeding while getting the knife and throw it into the wall far from the tank "don't you dare die on me now!"

She wasn't breathing. Kai cried harder. "L-lia!!"

He manages to stop the bleeding and stitches her neck quickly and gives her mouth to mouth to give her some air

Nothing happened.

"Common breath!!" He gives her mouth to mouth again

Still, nothing happened, Kai was crying hard. "LIA!!! WHY??!"

Dagger growls and grabs Kai's hair "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!?!?"

Kai screamed, and cried more. "s-she d-did-d it-t!!! Nznot-t me-e!!!"

"WHY?!? WHY DID SHE DO IT?!?!?"

"I-i don--" her words were interrupted by a mix of sobs, and screams.

He lets go of her hair and growls

"I-i... d-don-nt kn-now... i-i.. w-wo-ould-d ha-av-ve s-stoped h-her i-if I c-coul-ld....."

A few days later, Dagger walked into the room, to see Kai out of the tank, holding her breathe, reaching for the knife in the wall. She had tears staining her cheeks, straining to reach it

"Oh no you don't!" He grabs her and throws her in the tanks "what the hell were you thinking?!?!"

Her voice was monotone, and she looked like she had no emotion, or life in her.

"I dont want to be here. I dont want to live every day, knowing I could have saved Lia. I dont want to live (** is italics.) *anymore*

He slaps her across the face

She took the hit, and looked at him. Her cheek turning red while she showed no signs of pain

"You girls really are stupid!! Had you and her just wait!! None of this would've happened!!! And news flash I was considering to take both of you back as a damn surprise!!!!"

"To be honest, Dagger, I dont want to go home. But nore do I want to stay here. Because this tank, and home, i see as my personal Hell.

He grabs her hair "what the hell are you talking about?!"

She showed no signs of pain. "Nobody cares about me. Im the runt. The outcast. Everyone hopes I die. Everyone wishes I didnt exist.

He growls "your a complete idiot..." He leans in and forcefully kisses her

She didnt react.... for a moment. After a moment, she slowly, and almost unnoticibly, kissis back

He keeps kissing her

She slowly kissed back more. He noticed how soft her lips were. It was like kissing silk.

As he kisses her he wraps his arms around her

She shifts slightly and starts to go limp in his arms

He holds her close to his arms as they kiss

She goes limp. When he pulled away, he saw she passed out.

"She must be tired..." He lays her on the side of the tank and watches over her

She slept silently. Her back slowly rising and falling as a rhythmic pace

He just watches her as she sleeps

A few hours later, she starts having a nightmare, and twitches slightky

He sees he twitch a bit

Her*

She starts to make a whine sound. "...n-no...."

"Kai...?"

"Li-ia... plzlease... n-n....NOO!!"

"Kai wake up!!" He shakes her

She screams when she wakes up and starts ro cry

He hugs her

She hugs back, and cries into his shirt

He lets her "what happened? Did you have a nightmare?"

She nods wjile crying

He tries to calm her down "do you want to tell me?"

After abit of calming ddown, she speaks.

"I-it... was my b-brain... re-eplaying the m-moment when L-lia... "she stops. Unable to finish the sentence

"I'm so sorry..."

She starts to cry hard again.

He rubs her head to calm her down

"...wh-hy.. areze yo be-eing so n-nice.... to-o me..."

"Because...this is not how I wanted all this to happen..."

She looked up at him. "Wh-h... whzt.. d-do you me-ean-n...?

He sighs "you wouldn't understand"

She shook slightly

"But it's nothing bad I can assure you"

She nodded in understanding and sighed shakily, gripping his shirt

He lets her so she can calm down

After a while, she seemed to relax. "....what now...?"

"What do you mean?"

"What ae we going to do now? Are you still going to take me _home_...?"

"Well...where do you want to go?"

She shrugged

"Well one things for sure I'm not going to harm you ever"

She shook her head

"Ok...if you need anything just call for me"

She nodded slowly

He smiles a little and heads to his desk
