And ive joined in a perfect time frame, so dont say that im late, or early. This is a colors prodject, for everyone, at least as u said it so i think its unfair

Like I said (as @Fish_Oil), I'm not the one who is going to be notifying you of your partners. @Shotenka offered to help me with #css3, and I accepted that offer in asking them to inform everyone of their partners.

Now, don't go putting pressure on them unnecessarily because I mentioned their username. I emailed a list of all of the paired artists to them, so they'll receive the list and start notifying everyone at some point in time. I also left a comment in their gallery about the matter.

Even if I started informing people myself, which I could very well do... what, then, would be the point in having someone else help me? It's not December just yet, and you'll get your partners either way. What's the big hurry?

It was very tedious work, typing up each artist's username and their description for their request/drawing preferences. Don't even get me started on hatd-to-spell or just really long names (and the ones with X's at the beginning and end... that's become a pet peeve now, lol)...

I did my best to pair everyone up accordingly. There is the possibility that I have made some mistakes, such as typos or not pairing up people as well as they might have desired (or even forgetting to erase a name and accidentally giving someone a second partner*). I proofread the list, checked countless times to make sure that I was doing everything right. Even now, a few unchecked errors might have slipped past my knowledge.

Asking for help at this point isn't so unreasonable. I finished VERY quickly, and it would mean more tedious work for me if...

*actually, there were two lists... the first, a detailed summary of each artist and the latter. the second only had artists' usernames listed in pairs of two

It would mean more work (and, like @DecapicationCarnival mentioned, more stress) for me to comment on each and every painting informing you all of your partners. Now that I think about it, I also came across these problems with pairings for #css:

- confusing or vague descriptions and/or requests

- trying not to be biased in my pairings (although this is pretty much impossible to avoid). Rather, I should say, trying to be as fair I could with my judgement for pairings

- 'overly demanding' requests

- being too specific (nitpicking)

- "the minority" artists (less people are willing to draw certain subject matter/art styles/etc.)

- proofreading, typos, human error, etc.

Going to all that trouble, I wouldn't find it unfair to wait at least a day (or even several. maybe even a week! anyway, back to the point) or two to find out who your partner is.

There's no obligation for me to be doing this; and I could have quit whenever I wanted to, if I felt like doing so. Nobody could do anything about my deciding to drop #css3 altogether, unless they took over or something. Unfair? That's life for ya.

This certainly was a LOT of commenting, huh (too lazy to read? sorry for the great walls of text)? But, I think we all get the point by now, so I'll stop here xD

Yeah, it would be a lot simpler if everyone was willing to draw whatever instead of only being a pony artist, sonic, etc.

Then we could pair people at random without as many problems, which is a lot easier to do than making a descriptive list x"D

Ok, so there's been some problems with partners and the like... I'm really busy at the moment, but I'll do what I can to fix mispairings or help people find their partners. The deadline has been extended to December 5th, so more people will be joining. I'll be busy at least until the weekend starts, however; so I must ask for your paitence and understanding. Thanks, and I hope you will be able to enjoy this year's #css.

I know that you have a lot of pressure and under alot of stress for hosting such event, but it seems that I can't find my partner for the SS. I know that you have recieved alot of complains/ comments/ change requests, but I would appreceate(sp) the help in finding him/her.
