Thanks! I put a -lot- of thought into him. The biggest thing for me was I didn't want him to be too cliche, and I didn't want him to be flawless. For the sake of the point of the story (that being nobody's perfect and that it's your ACTS that define you; not your feelings or thoughts) I wanted him to just as easily be "the bad guy" as "the good guy," hopefully making his good choices a bit more signifigant.
