Space Mushrooms by CarrionGear

Interstellar fungi that drift the never-ending cosmos. No one knows where they come from, but what is known about these mushrooms is that they absorb things like gamma rays and dark matter to sustain themselves. They also come in a variety of sizes, ranging from as small as a tiny space pebble, to as large as Jupiter. They also glow, but not as bright as a star, despite all the energy they must absorb from passing stars.

(cont.) Think of a night light floating through space. That's how bright it is. No one knows if these mushrooms pose any kind of threat, but they are a sight to behold when a group of them passes by.
