I made an au! I’m calling it Ariatale because I’m not good with names! It’s basically a really self indulgent thing that mashes together some concepts I like a bunch.
In this au, the surface is a series of floating continents and the monsters are trapped in a giant airship type structure (it looks like a generic pirate ship but with a giant stalagmite-like structure at the bottom). Once a year, the airship touches the surface for a short period of time, and during this time, some kids managed to weasel their way onto the ship.
Also: everyone can play instruments and they play w/ their attacks, because I think that’s cool.
