Hey. I wanna tell you a story. I wanna tell you a story, and you're gonna listen. If you choose not to listen, then watch out. But if you aren't going to listen, you'd have blocked me out of your hearing by now, and wouldn't know to watch out. So the only question left is, if you are only around to talk, and nobody will listen, what's the point of being around at all?

Nobody exists for that reason alone. If they did, then there would be someone who existed to be happy to listen to that person. The universe isn't cruel. Some people only want it to be.

Technically, that is all Navi does. Even at the beginning, she wakes you up by talking. To tell you to go to the Great Deku Tree. And before Tatl joins you in MM, you can flip and stuff so you can Z-Target without Navi, even though she jumps to the targeted enemy in OoT, and talks, mind you. She was legitamitely made to talk to the player and tell them what to do or where to go. If you never listen to her, she may as well not exist.
