So, I just finished the second book of the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson.... and Elend hasn't died yet. I hate him. Go away, Elend. I like Tyndwyl, why couldn't she stay? Or even Ore Seur/Ten Soon. I liked him too.

It's fantasy, and has really good worldbuilding. :0
There's this magic, Allomancy, where the magic is stored in metal, and to use this magic, you have to "burn" it (basicallt digest it I guess)
Um, it starts out with a society ruled by some sort of demi-god who rules with an iron fist. Vin's the main character.
I'm not terribly good at explaining things, but it's a good series. /:D

It's a really good series. My older brother and I liked to read and talk about it all the time years ago. I really should try to make some fan art for it, but I would need to go back and recall some of the details explained in the book. It's been too long.
