So basically, for some strange reason, a demigod named Chrystephone and her parents wind up in modern times. This forces Athena, a maiden-goddess, to take on the difficulties of parenting in person, and she's honestly sort of bad at it. Taros, Chrystephone's dad, is a big help, and seems to be an expert parent.
Also, because Athena is aromantic and ase.xual, she doesn't see Taros the same way he sees her. (He adores her, but she maintains a more respectful view of him.)
Chrystephone was actually conceived in an "unconventional" way, so their relationship with each other is nothing above an intellectual level (which depresses Taros).

Taros is also half-Japanese, and is sort of laid-back in comparison to Athena, who is more of a take-charge kind of woman. Athena has no idea how to handle either of them.
Oh--and Aphrodite always tries to set Taros and Athena up together, but her attempts always lead to failure and the wrath of Athena. XD

Omg this is perfect and precious <xD Truly the cure to any ailment. Every ailment. All the ailments. xDD Just lookit Athena, being cute and clueless, and Taros being perfect wife material xDDD No wonder Aphrodite ships it xDD
