"(not any 'bullying', but prevention of getting harmed)
Any advice on how I can be safe here at 'Colors!'? Any advice would be wonderful. Should I just not comment or 'talk' that much?"

The Colors! Gallery can be a great way to share art and to get feedback from other artists, but yes ocassionally there may be times people don't get along, but that's true of most online sites. I wouldn't say you have to avoid commenting because commenting on the art of others is how you can not only get them to comment back but also a way to make friends. Instead, just keep your comments nice and supportive of art and leave artistic feedback if they ask for it. If someone needs support, offer them it. The only things to avoid would be if they seem to be in a conflict and asking for people to side with them. Otherwise, most people are just here for art, fun and friends. If you worry too much about this, you may miss out on a lot of interactions here, so don't be afraid to open up and meet new people. Of course, if that's not what you want out of the Gallery, then you could not comment much. Just remember that comments lead to comments. I hope you enjoy it here. :3

I been on here for three years and have only had ONE run in with a jerk who was abbusing another artist. I do hear a lot of complaints about bullies but generally it takes two people who call names and retaliate to start a problem. Be yourself and don't respond (negatively) to negative comments if you get some.
