Halloween Serpent by LillyLightstar
In a swamp village, far away, there are tales of a phantom serpent who devours children, but can be appeased with a candy offering. Sadly, the children who recently moved there do not believe it. After all, monsters aren't real, it's just a fairytale. They steal the offering and boast, thinking they've proved it's nonexistance, but someone, somewhere, is looking.

Ooh, that's a pretty cool idea! I've never heard of a dragon that is bribed by candy... Will it eat the children if they don.t give him offerings? XDD
