Brief description here: Onyx, the odd one out in the picture, is my Gemsona. I started drawing this as a height chart, so I could reference her proportions compared to the other Gems in the future, but somehow it turned into a tear-filled reunion: one where Onyx is revived after many millennia (either found imprisoned in an object or restored from Gem Monster status) and the Crystal Gems have to catch her up on some things. I wanted Rose to be in the picture because Onyx knew her, so I tried my hand at a real background for the very first time!

All in all: Steven is very excited to have a new mom!
