monster hunters games were awesome, you start off with small quests building up reputation then eventually building up with monsters, eventually fighting one involved with disasters, for example earthquakes made when ceadeus(whale sized monster) butted its large horn into the ground. thus repelling or killing it then saving the town involved this game its mogavilliage

the online mode has jhen mohran,its not really associated with disaster except sandstorms, then when you hit hr50 you hear of attacks in the sacred land,leading to one elder dragon The Alatreon, it has the ability to change the weather, hail the size of cars,many think its hard to kill, probably right, but i find them easy to kill

newer one coming out are mh3g for 3DS and MH4 for ps3 later in the year
