Here is why it´s hard for him to get close to someone!

When he was young (about 5 years old) he had a younger sister (3 years old), both were really close together because their parents left them behind. Both spend about three years in the Orphanage before they got adopted by a rather cruel older man.

The man always forced them to work hard even though he knew that Lance´s little sister was sick. Lance must study all kinds of magic so he would get good grades in school while his sister needed to take care of everything at home. When Lance started his school his sisters condition got even worse. He tried to find a way to heal her with all the magic knowledge he got but it was already to late. His sister died and he couldn´t do anything about it. His step dad didn´t cared and wanted to force Lance to continue like nothing happened. Because Lance got so mad at him he accidently activated a forbidden dark magic and ended up killing his step dad. Now everytime he gets to mad or sad this dark magic activates again and because of that he don´t wants to get to close to someone again so he would hurt them.
