I love the lighting! You are very good at getting just the right contrast to give the impression of realism, even with visible brush strokes. I've noticed this in your other paintings as well. It still blows me away that you can constantly produce these beautiful paintings in only 1 or 2 hours o_o
Excellent work this time. You can create lovely places. Perfect in the distance, seems so real. Your drawings watched at the right distance are often better than "analyzed" or "scanned".
@Cuthalion Thanks, Yeah I would say that realism comes from: Form/perspective > contrast and light > detail/material > Color. So if you nail the important points, brush strokes can even add to the appeal of a painting. As long as they follow the form and flow in 3d space.
@Otaner72 Thank you, I guess the initial impression is important to me. I enjoy painting detail and stuff like that as well, but I rarely have time to go that far with these.
