yes they were so innocent in the beginning especially Gon. I used to like Gon a lot but after the chimera ant arc not so much.

its the complete opposite for me! i loved gon a lot more (like a lot a lot) after the chimera ant arc...lol like he said "if you ever wanna know more about someone see what makes them upset" plus none of them were exactly innocent to begin with
