Raelyn's canines are really sharp because of the true form.

Elimir can erase minds/memories w/ a forbidden spell. When Elimir uses the spell he literally wipes their memory clean so they can't/won't remember Raelyn whatsoever, despite what they try to do. Elimir only uses the spell when Raelyn's true form is shown in front of others or when people witnessed Raelyn's markings. HOWEVER--- well that's were the plot twists. lol
