Sighing, Lucretius stroke back his hair, leaning back onto a post. It wasn´t exactly busy right now, but somehow he felt at unease. Something around here made him feel... sad for a reason. His blind eyes went over the place. Someone stepped past him. With a strange stinging feeling in his chest, he turned towards the man. Scars. He ´saw´ scars. Deep ones at that.
"...You´re... hurt", he calmly said towards the one that had passed him, his white pupils fixing his back for some reason.

"..." Aland stopped in his tracks at the voice, slowly turning towards Lucretius. Hurt? No, he didn't think so. He had just come back from the medicine tent, and Rusalka always did a thorough job in patching him- and everyone else- up. "... What do you mean?" He murmured, a tad bit unnerved, though of course he wouldn't show that.

( @dragoon- *SCREAMING NOISES* I`M SO SORRY I JUST-- work stuff and complicated things. ;n; )

Lucretius slowly shook his head, his eyebrows raised a bit.
"Not... physically. I can see you´re hurt. That is... one of the things I AM able to see. I saw scars when I looked at you." His purple eyes had a rather sad shimmer, as if he´d be in pain himself in this very moment - and in some kind of way, he was. It was such a suppressed kind of being hurt; He knew that the man in front of him wouldn´t want to talk about it, yet he had seen people being eaten alive by sorrows, by such scars.
"...Please don´t be mad about it."

Scars? ... He couldn't possibly mean-? Aland winced at the thought. He had tried so hard to put up his defensive barrier with that sour attitude of his, but if that were to all come crashing down now...
"Sorry, but I think you're just imagining things." The bowknight mumbled hastily, a feeble attempt at ending things there and then.

"No, I´m... I´m sure. If you don´t want anyone to know, I´ll keep quiet. I promise. Just... please don´t let yourself be crushed by something that left such scars on you. If you don´t want to talk, I´ll accept it. But if you ever wish to, please it. Your secrets are safe with a priest, right?" The black-haired smiled kindly, still looking at him with rather pained, worried eyes. Hopefully he would jump over his own shadow, someday at least. Before it´d hurt him even more.

The bowknight stayed silent for a few moments, pondering the priest's words. No one else knew aside from one person, not even his siblings knew. But maybe he could trust him, if Lucretius' worried gaze was anything to go off of. Yes, he'd definitely consider taking him up on his offer. But for right now, Aland was determined to repair his shell. While they were in public, at the very least.
With a quick shake of his head, Aland's usual scowl returned to his face. "... Maybe you need to sleep or something, as I can assure you that I am perfectly fine."
Well, maybe that forced syllable in the 'perfectly' was too much of a give away. Oh well.

( It escaped, obviously )

"Please just don´t keep telling this to yourself if you´re not really feeling like it´s the truth. I´ll leave you alone for now, since I noticed you´d rather want it that way for now." Smiling again, the priest just waved shortly before he started to walk out of the tent. Hopefully that man would take his time to consider the request he brought up. Af.ter all he was not able to see into people´s past, unlike his mentor was. Sighing, Lucretius took a turn to have a look at the wounded.
