The Aust Family Curse.
Passed down from 1st born child to 1st born child and #RaelynAust happens to be the first born.
The markings glow when the true form feels theartened via "host" body or when going to "transform".
This is the main reason Raelyn wears arm and leg warmers and uses make-up to hide the face markings (She can't cry in public because of it, family will shield if she does). She's afraid of getting bullied/shunned again especially if the true form is revealed.
