Elimir has no idea what is ok in this "era" considering he's over 3,000 yrs old with different customs and such, which is reason for his worriness.

Raelyn, on the other hand, isn't going to the dance. She rather visit(? her grandfather to help w/ his shops at the wizards' black market if needed. Plus Raelyn has a habit of staying in the back corner during dances when she has no one to really be with, what fun is that?
