Act 1: the wakened "hero"

I arose from what felt like a deepened sleep. i looked around, allowing my heavy eyes to fully open and adjust. i saw the inside of the remains of a small research shuttle. All around me, were bits and pieces of tattered cloth, broken, sparking electronics, and wiring frayed outward amongst the cockpit. There were bits of flames spouting from vents, only made possible from the remaining oxygen in the ship. the glass was shattered, and blood was sprayed across the inside as well. i wondered what has happened here...as everything seemed...aged. the blood was dry and almost brown, which led me to assume it had been spewed a long while ago...but from what? the ash and burn marks that were around the holes in the shuttle led me to believe this wreckage was from some form of an explosion.

i looked upwards as a miniscule moving figure caught my attention through my peripherals. it was a tiny, geometrically-shaped, robotic entity who's light seemed to resemble an eye, overlooking and inspecting me. We both sat and exchanged many minutes of inspection and judgement and looks, before i opened my mouth to say something, but was inturrupted by the entity's own voice. (which resembled Steve Blum, the voice actor for Orachimaru, Wolverine, Tank Dempsey, and the Toonami guy.) "i've been searching for signs of life all over this system! you were killed just recently enough for me to revive you!" i stared blankly into empty space around the shuttle, and then realized what he said as my heart sinks. "died....what do you mean by tha-" i get inturrupted by the robot again. "affirmative. you've been affected by this ship's self-destruct sequence..."

"self...destruct...?"-the robot inturrupts me once more. "yes! no need to repeat me, human! now...down to business. you are likely wondering why i resurrected you." i respond with a nod. "good! well it's very simple! we're both stranded...My name is Spectre-13! You see, i have been drifting through space for quite some time now...and just so happened to bump into your-er...what remains of your vessel. i have desperately been searching for a living lifeform that could command a vessel, that is able to help me return back to my home planet! seeing as you were the captain of this ship, you seem to be a worthy candidate!" i am still terribly confused and attempting to understand the current situation i am in. "all i remember...was being on my way back home, and our ship wa-" "our..? there was another human??" -"yeah...her name was Jessica...the amazing engineer and copilot...and my f-friend..."
