What I learned lately by Rilenan
is that ear placement sucks.
Basically I keep having the ears /on/ instead of /attached/ to the head. I basically realized that the ears should look like it's /behind/ instead of /on top of/ the head.
I'm mainly posting this for me to find at other places (aka not on 3ds), but if it helps anyone, well cool.
