In reply to your comment: Haha. To be honest, I've barely seen any episodes. Dean was originally going to be Arthur but it didn't fit. Jared just fit him. I don't know why or how, it just fit. Dean and Jared have no similarities to Supernatural. Actually, Dean is loosely based off of Sherlock Holmes. Jared was just a random character I thought of before becoming attached to him. xD
