Looks great so far! You caught the art style of the Mario artworks. The lines just need to be bigger (and smaller and bigger in different areas. I guess stylistic would be a good word to describe it). It'd probably take very long though. The colors are also too saturated, but it's too late to fix now. It's still great, and it's interesting seeing the characters in the newer art style.

Line thickness would take forever so screw that. As for the colors, I don't see what you mean. If you mean the colors were less saturated in the official artwork, I kinda don't care.

I mean you used the sharpest colors available for most colors. For example, Mario looks like uses the MS Paint neon blue and red if I'm going to be honest, and it's kinda annoying to look at. Not saying you can't use colorful colors, but it's pretty important that they're still smooth. I used to use the sharpest colors for my pics as well, but then I realised how much better they look if you add just a bit of grey. You can use whatever colors you want, though.
