The Silent Sorrow by BlackZodiacQueen

Almost a full body drawing of Koori.
Koori is rlly fun to color.

Yes she wears bright red underwear under her white dress.
Cause your totally suppose to do that.

Maybe i'll draw her with her ice sword later.

In case you guys forgot, shes a vigilante.

What a cutie!
Now watch as this is marked "mature" because she has parts every female has and most like to show off "IRL," so EVERYONE knows about/sees them daily, and "OMG women shoodn show boobz bcuuz wound und squshy but manz is ok doe becuhs menz." Yes, I have issues with prudish people. And the stupid gender double-standard regarding tops.

How pretty. Your choice of colors is pretty great. Nice shading style, too. Simple and to the point, but not so much so as to look lazy. Great consistancy, too.

Small thing, though. Her eye, and -her- left hand, the one holding down her dress. At first glance, the hand looks glossed over, like you lost interest in the middle of drawing. I see from looking closely she's clutching her dress, and it's partially obscured by the dress, but perhaps it would be better if you defined the hand a bit more.
As for the eye, I thought the line defining the where her eyelid and brow meet, was the top of her eye, but this made it seem as if her iris was---

--- jutting out, until I examined it closer and saw the her lashes matched her hair. A nice touch, but they should be slightly more defined. A darker blue, or maybe a line along parts of the inside/outside?

Hope I'm not coming off as a know-it-all or anything... I just want to help. I really like your art.

Re:
Hands give everyone trouble. I always draw them too big or too small.

If something looks or feels wrong, that's because it is.
And gotta account for Color!'s stupid habit of pixilating, especially blue and red...

I'm glad you like my critiques. I try not to sound like a jerk. Heck, I'm not perfect. I screw up anatomy a LOT. I only critique people/drawings I really like and think have great potential, so hopefully you take it as a compliment. That, and I hate to be one of those guys who just says "nice draw" or something...
What's good about it? Why's it nice? Why not great?

Here's a trick for you in the future that I use to "see through my observer's eyes." Flip the painting. Don't know if it works for anyone else, but for me the drawing doesn't look like mine anymore, so I can look at it more like I do other people's work. Just something to try.

I'm also incredibly chatty. Forgive me. :/

Re:
Ha! Well, me too, but it does help spot errors. For example, I have a character name " #Hanaah";, and flipping her profile drawing is how I realized her shoulder and hips/legs were slightly disproportionate and plan to fix it in a post soon to come.

So you like chatty people, eh? Heh, just remember you invited it upon yourself later. XD
