Gen 2 Pick: Totodile by Penplat
Oh? Were you expecting someone else?
Back in Gold, I actually chose Totodile as my starter. I rather like this pokemon's design. Out of his evolutionary line, Totodile is my favorite, though the other two are also good. I always remember Totodile as being fun and energetic, thanks to his anime appearance. If I remember correctly, I only truly trained Totodile in Gold, but he managed to carry me to the Elite Four. I wouldn't actually beat them until a later gen, though.

Also, aaah, Totodile, I used to hate his evolutions, and I didn't like grass pokemon either so Chikorita was excluded, I'd always go with Cyndaquil. I always took the same team in crystal btw : cyndaquil, Pidgey, Eevee and no one else until Suicune, and the Dragon's Den Dratini. Then I'd use the master ball to catch Raikou and this was it for the rest of the game... xD I managed to finish the council and won the 16 badges, then I found Red and he was so difficult to beat, I trained for days. xD

We'll see how long both last. If I'm lucky they won't be reported for a long while. Deviantart is better since it's more tolerant

I chose Totodile in Super Mystery Dungeon and Silver
