I like maps a lot. I think you should add some little features like a detailed compass and a little sea monster, some guys with puffed up cheeks representing the winds, a little roiling wavw here and there, some little trees, mountains, plateaus, deltas, and maybe clouds. I like archipelagos too - they are adventure incarnate.
