Lillian woke with a start, the echoes of her dream still haunting her mind. Sitting up, she clutched her heart, remembering where the creature had torn her skin. With it's long icy blue talons and chesire cat-like grin, it had lunged at her, ripping her flesh. She wiped the cold sweat off her forehead. Getting out of bed, Lillian went to the kitchen for a glass of water. If she stayed in bed, she would go to sleep, and meet the creature again. It had been like that every night now. Sitting down at the dinner table, she drank her water. She still couldn't shake off the feeling something was watching her, but she put it aside. 'Probably just my imagination...' she thought. Looking at the clock that hung on the wall, she realized it was six in the morning. Sighing, she went back to her room and got dressed, knowing that soon, she would have to go to school, and that she wasn't going back to sleep again, with that dream still haunting her.

Suddenly, she heard a faint scratching at the window. Curious, she peeked through the curtains and jumped backwards, screaming.
"This can't be happening, this can't be happening..." she muttered to herself, sweat pouring down her face. In the window she had seen the creature from her dream, grinning like a madman. With a defeaning CRASH! the creature broke through the window. Lillian rushed to her door, only to find...
it was locked.
"There's no escape for you, I'm afraid..." the creature cackled, flicking it's long, white, bladed tail. With cat-like grace, it slinked towards Lillian, it's blue mane bristling with delight. Lillian hardly noticed the house turning to forest around her. She was more focused on escaping her impending doom. "HELP!" she screamed to anyone who would listen. But no one was listening.
Except for the creature. Finally, it leaped, it's sleek muscles bunching under it's white skin. Lillian looked up, only to see the creature's grinning face.
