[insert species name]s take on the appearance of a lion/rat hyrbid. There are actually two species of them (like kangaroo and wallaby, so I actually need TWO species names), one is about the size of a lion (like Bonkers) and the other, slightly larger than a rat.
The upper part of their skulls are formed above the skin, and generally a design is painted on them when they are young by a parent (or guardian).
Their claws are retractable.
They have a tuft of fur at the end of their tail, however the rest of their tail is bare.
Some of them have two tails.

I think the lion size ones like Bonkers can be called a Zeeaboo (prounced zee-A-boo) and the one that larger than a rat size would be called a Zoobazee (prounced zoo-bae-zee)
[sorry if the names look and/or are prounced weird, I'm bad at naming species, but this species is really cool!]
