I don't know why, but there is something meditative about painting trees. If I only got to paint two "things" ever again, I would probably last quite a while on just trees and rocks.

I like painting tree's too. I have problems drawing a lot of things, but tree's always go smoothly for me.

I think natural forms are less stressful because they can take any shape without looking noticeably wrong. There's less pressure to get the shapes exactly right so you can enjoy the drawing process more
