Oh gosh,this reminds of the part of the southern USA I live... I see these types of signs almost everywhere! xD I can't wait to see it finished though! :)
Wow! I wish you could have them all inside to protect them from the elements! It looks like your Hills Bros. thermometer to the right of the door - and is that an 'S & H' geen stamp sign near the very left? Fun collection - disappearing history. I haven't drawn much on here in some time - I have been spending my free time working on oil paintings - glad to see you are posting!
Bill, so glad to hear from you! you have a good eye and know your signs. a lot of signs in front of man cave are porcelain so they tend to not fade as much.. but i like a sign with some wear/rust... the whole inside is covered with signs, advertising thermometers and a couple neon clocks. id love seeing you post some new art work, im always waiting for ya to!
Haha. Sorry for the late reply. But I sell mattresses at sears, it's a thankless job. I'm always jealous of your realism style. If there's something you want to ask I'm doing a Q&A.
