Be true to yourself. Try studying. Though you are shy, I do ask that you try to make a few friends. That way they can protect you.

Being shy tends to mean you are more sensitive and the things around you affect you more. That means you can be afraid or hurt easily, but it also means you can care more. You would make a much better and more loyal friend than more expressive people who aren't as phased by things. You're not alone though. If you stop and look around, you'll notice other kids are shy and others are teased. For their own comfort and safety, they may be hiding in the halls and they won't be talkative in class, so they won't stand out. That means you'll really have to look for them. It also means they're not going to come up to you and make friends with you. You'll have to be brave and take a chance. But it will be easier talking to a person who's not expressive. It will also be well worth it because you'll not only be helping yourself, but them too. As I said, you have the potential to care more. Once you get past the hurt, you can be a great friend.

Friends not only prevent bullying but also are there to talk to each other and comfort each other after bullying. Also, the process of making new friends will give you strength because it takes courage and will make you feel more comfortable and braver. Bullies look for weakness as a target. There is strength in numbers, yes, but you also have your own inner strength that comes from believing in yourself and accepting yourself for who you are. It doesn't matter what people who tease you think, only if you believe it. People will literally come up with anything to make fun of someone over, even something like the shoes they wear, so changing yourself won't help. Confidence in yourself will. Friends can encourage you, but it's up to you to believe in yourself. And, for most adults, their bodies run down easily and they work way too much for them to handle since they can't regenerate as fast. That makes them moody or just too tired to focus on what matters in life, but they can change.

There is always hope and things will get better if you believe they will. Your grades are dependent on how much you can focus in school and it will be easier if you can find more friends and have a reason to be there. Constantly wanting to leave or give up is as bad as bullying on your ability to get good grades. I know it's hard and this life is unfair, but, because you have been bullied, you have experience and understanding that you can use to help others who have been bullied. You can be more than a friend to others. You can be a hero. It just takes time.

Call a kids help line, stand up, act like it dosen't bother you. Talk to a relative if your Mom is being really mean. Ask about switching schools. Praying for you.
