RIP Koi by MessyRoom123

koi was my shubunkin goldfish i got 3 days ago. im not sure why she died, it could have been the change in water. she was 3 or 4 inches and still growing. they're a japanese goldfish that grow to be around 12 inches. she was pretty, but my fish thats still alive seems to have more personality. #rip #shubunkin #goldfish #koi #messyroom

Fish tend to die easily when exposed to new enclosures.
I'm sorry about your loss

Aww I'm sorry your goldfish died..

Did you first let them get used to your tanks water and temperature before you put them in?

You can't just inmeadiately put them in the tank.

I suggest you do some research on goldfish to prevent another death.

Hmmm...then it might have been the stress of moving so often in a short time. Even the hardiest fish are quite sensitive to stress. When getting a new fishtank, always buy the biggest tank you can afford. The bigger the tank, the more stable the water conditions will be and the easier and less you'll have to clean it. The fish also have more space, and will be more healthy and happy. Never put your fish in a fishbowl. Please. They are too small, hard to clean, the dirt builts up quickly, there's less oxygen, and the temperature is impossible to regulate. It's rare that fish in a fishbowl live long lives. (I'm just trying to give you advice, don't be offended. I've had fish tanks for years and did A LOT of research on them (I've read so many books about aquarium fish, and about how to set up and take care of your fishtank))

But I'm absolutely sure you love your fish and try your best to take good care of them. And I compliment you on that.
